we all begged for 2013 to be over last year (despite nearly winning the national championship in basketball) but 2014 was undeniably worse. I would be optimistic if December 31, 2013 is followed by January 1, 1997, but this 'aint the 90s anymore...

If their best football players could leave after one or two years. Teams that don't recruit high end talent every year reduce their margin for error and will need upper classmen to compete at the highest level. Michigan has been lucky/unlucky in having their best players so well they stay early but we were not able to replace them with instant impact guys.

It seems really odd that we have sent so many guys to the NBA early that we can't get top H.S. players that want to come here for a year or two.

is not one that favors iso's and easy to grasp offense where you can just show off any aspect of your game you feel like. it also doesn't feature an inside game, so there's no reason for elite bigs to come here.

remember that stretch last season where stauskas dissappeared? i don't think that would happen on a coach k team.

This was as bad as I could have imagined, and I imagined that this was going to be an ass kicking.

I really think DJ Wilson would have made enough of a difference to squeak by NJIT and EMU, and pretty much overall, but this is just a down year. 

If we come back as strong as I think we will next year, I can live with a down year.
