I know Tradition and the Michigan Football Vault have quite a bit of info on Yost.

The Big House, Fielding H.Yost and the Building of Michigan Stadium by Robert M. Soderstrom is a good one.

Email Greg @ Mvictors. He tends to do some of the best research on Michigan football past (especially The Jug). I know he had a contact that was working in to find information on other historical Michigan sports work.

Here are the sources cited by the author:
"Sources for this article include records of the U-M Athletic Department at the Bentley Historical Library; The Michigan Daily; Michigan Alumnus; Detroit Free Press; John U. Bacon, et al, A Legacy of Champions: The Story of the Men Who Built University of Michigan Football (1996); John Behee, Hail to the Victors (1974) and John Behee, Fielding H. Yost's Legacy to the University of Michigan (1970). The latter book includes the quoted passage from Elton Weiman's letter to Herbert Wilson. Richard Lerner located the mention of Belford Lawson Jr. in the Detroit Free Press."

head over to the Daily part of the Student Pubs building. They have a room full of archived copies of the Michigan Daily that have tons of info on Yost. Some of the books referenced above cite these frequently ('The Big House' in particular).
If you need help getting into the building let me know and I'll give you a contact.

I'd suggest Football for Player and Spectator by Yost. It's not so much about him as it is about football, but since he wrote it it's probably worth looking through. Also, it has a lot of play diagrams from his playbook circa 1905. Very fun stuff

if you all can come up with any other sources that would be great. I preferably need hard copy sources such as books, articles, electronic articles. I heard about The Big House. Does it delve much into Yosts impact on football or mostly his impact on the stadium?

Many would argue that his impact on the stadium influenced football.
Having said that*, yes, the book does talk quite a bit about Yost as a coach and things that he did that advanced the game with respect to playcalling, etc.
*gratuitously inserted for the CYE enthusiasts.

Written in the 1970s, its focus is on African-Americans on Michigan sports teams. It has quite a bit of material on the Willis Ward incident while Yost was athletic director.
