Anyone else glad this is happening all now instead of dragging on?

Before the Pac 10 starting making moves, Delaney wanted to drag this thing out the whole summer.

Now, things are going to shape in a matter of weeks. I'm glad we've sped up the timeline on this.

Now let's just get Texas, ND, and some other teams I don't really care about (I'm fine with Mizzou and/or Rutgers) and call it a day.

Best Super Conference in the country (provided that the above happens), even after everyone else expands.

It makes for a great off-season for college fans, and everything that happens, from expansion to USC to Izzo, pushes UM's wrist-slap further into the background where it belongs.  Also, I have to admit that I find it quite exciting to see structures that have been in place for years suddenly begin to change.

I think the Pac-10 rushed this Colorado announcement in order to take the spot light off the fact their flagship program is getting hammered.

I would have prefered that USC's sanctions got to be in the spotlight for a week or so before all this expansion shit took over the media.

For some reason I love all the expansion talk.  I love thinking what conferences could look like and where teams want to go.  There's so many questions and possibilities.  It's awesome!  I just hope everything happens quickly, but still takes up enough time to have something to talk about into July.

Baseball just doesn't do it for me in the summer.  Give me expansion talk!

When the dust clears you will have the PAC 16 , Big 10/16 and the SEC and ACC with the left overs from the Big East and Big 12 right? Sprinkle in the WAC and MAC as well. 6 conferences maybe left over and you take the top 2 from each for a 12 team playoff and the rest as is to the Bowls?

I don't really care who goes where but the Big 10 is going to add 2 or 3 more of the top 10 programs in terms of wins in the end giving us 5 or 6 just wow!

I feel like it's already been dragging on forever.  Remember in like December when Pitt was supposedly on the verge of joining?
