It's probably because we have futures... I'm pretty sure Northrop Grumman does not appreciate their interns doing Playboy shoots even if it's for Girls of the Big Ten.

Also, I can't speak for the other sororities... but my nationals would NOT be pleased, and if I'm going to get kicked out it has to be something that tops the last girl who got kicked out, and hers was pretty epic.

My money is on SDT and the near-impossible .40 BAC

Not joking. A few (many) years ago I was an MP doing LE road patrol in Germany.

I had a German I got trying to drive his car after the base fest (side note: All the German towns have their own fests in the spring or summer. The ones by bases combine with the base and have a big fest).

He did really poorly driving and had a .32 after a blood draw.

A while later a guy was driving from the direction of the clubs and blew the light at the gate. I followed him for 3 klicks with the lights and siren on as he went all over the road. He ended up stopping in the middle of the road and fell out when he tried to get out. He had a .36 on the blood draw.

Wasn't even military or American. He was from canada over working for a company on contract and missed home. We had open posts then--I hope they don't now.

Anyhow, the point. I think .40 is possible, but the two people I saw over .3 were long time drinkers and were fairly unable to do anything.

Pretty sure you missed the point... but you hit the nail on the head about my ugliness! I'm such a gross engineer!

I'll be crying myself to sleep cursing your detection of my less than desirable looks from all the way across Teh Interweb! Curse you, MichMike86! No one thinks I'm hot anymore!

I concede that MSU has a larger sample of better looking women.

You know what's funny though? I know of quite a few Michigan graduate men who have married MSU women. However, I am yet to meet a Michigan grad woman married to an MSU grad man. I'm sure they are out there but I don't know of any.

This makes sense though. Men hold more value in looks (I already conceded that MSU's women are generally better looking). Women, on the other hand, hold more value in the ability for their mate to provide for their family.

You following all this?

What I have found is that at Michigan, many girls come in as freshman a bit nerdy, and by the time they graduate they have figured out how to "highlight their assets".

At Michigan State, girls come in already knowing how to be attractive, and by the time they graduate many of them are simply "used up garbage". Not many MSU girls are still attractive upon graduation.

I personally had three friends during my time at Michigan who were better looking than any girl I have ever seen in East Lansing.

My experience when I was at MSU - given, grad school so I didn't mingle with the undergrad population much - but the girls were definitely some of the "prettier" ones in high school, but they didn't necessarily stay that way as the years went on. I remember talking to some fellow grad students, who came from UM, MSU, and other schools, and they noted that while the freshmen girls were quite attractive, the penchant for partying and limited exercise seemed to catch up to them as they grew older (and people discount exercise, but UM is very conducive to staying active and working out; I saw far fewer people running and working out at MSU). By comparison, UM women tend to age better, eating and exercising more and generally being more proactive. Given, my UM-grad wife is sitting next to me as I write this, but I am not about to concede that MSU women are more attractive across the board compared to UM. Maybe in the short term, but over the long haul I think UM acquits itself quite well.

And that is about as diplomatic as I can be when discussing the looks of girls who are 10+ years younger than me.

You have to realize that with all of the strapping, viral men we have at State, these girls get a lot of hard miles put on them, and are are bound to look a bit worn when they graduate. Hence your observation.

By comparison, UM women tend to age better...

Yeah, I totally agree. I've noticed that when the women graduate at UM, they look great and are in mint condition, with nary a mile on them. Its just that they are in a totally different environment than the women are at State.

Given, my UM-grad wife is sitting next to me as I write this...

Given my above observations, I am absolutely sure that your wife is a 10.

You know, "viral" totally makes sense as a descriptive term for MSU men. "Strapping" not so much, but totally "viral." Us UM men are stuck being only virile, which might help one-on-one with a lady but certainly doesn't have the reach and transmission capability that MSU gentlemen apparently possess.

But all kidding aside, I am not attacking MSU women as a whole; there certainly are some very attractive women there to look great 10-20+ years after graduation. But just like MSU students and alumni always argue that the perception of MSU as an inferior academic institution is (somewhat) unfounded, it is fair to say that the "MSU girls are hot, UM girls are not" maxim also has some holes. Some of my best friends are girls who went to MSU, and they are still attractive years after graduation. But that is largely true for anyone who takes care of herself. My argument, though, is that the culture at MSU (work hard, party hard; Sparty-on, more fast-food-centric restaurants) is not as conducive to maintaining those looks over the years.

And for the record, talking about how you put so many "hard miles" on girls at MSU makes me think they are more like cattle or horses than attractive women, which now that you say it...
