Any update on espn magazine subscription?

Submitted by weasel3216 on
Just wondering if anyone that subscribed to espn the mag a few weeks ago with the code posted in the boards has been able to access their insider account.

The only thing I have received so far is espn attempt to get me to sign up for their special issues. I tried to set up my insider but it said that it didn't have my info in the system.

I haven't received anything in the mail or e-mail yet.  I remember it saying you won't receive your first issue until March (I believe), so I'm guessing that is when we will be able to access ESPN Insider also

I took advantage of this deal a few months ago. I called ESPN a few times while waiting. It took about 7 weeks before ESPN had record of my subscription. Once they had that they got me all setup.

Just got mine the other day. It took about 6 weeks to receive. Entered the code off the front to get access and threw the magazine away because it's garbage.

Mix beef and mushroom soup together. You will air fart all night long. Keep some wet naps near by to wipe your greasy a-hole from time to time.

I tried one of those "amazing deals" and nothing after 1 month. I called ESPN and they has no subscription for me. I tried contacting the magazine company and no luck with either phone calls or emails. Be careful of these discount companies.

<br>I finally signed up direct with ESPN and got instant access to INSIDER and had my subscription 2 weeks later.

<br>Good to have TomVH again. Got to tell you though that the content is woefully limited, the board sucks and it made me realize just how good MGoblog is.

I was actually going to ask about this today. I've received nothing. As well, I've recently received 60.00 on fraudulent charges on my checking account from 'Night Flirt."
<br>
<br>I promise you that I've never called a
<br>900 # in my life. When I called the 'Night Flirt' customer service # it was a computer asking me to leave my phone number, name and debit card #. Fuck that. I have since had to get my card cancelled and my bank is investigating. That magazine was the only questionable purchase I've made online in years.
<br>
<br>Let me know off you guys have gotten any fraudulent charges...

I did the random website's special and got a year of insider and ESPN the magazine for $3.99 and it's been working for the past month....

Just got my first magazine in the mail today, too.

I did the deal a few weeks ago and it said then (as did other posters) that it may take several weeks to get entered in the system (they send these off in batches).  If we go through January and it's still not in the system, then it's time to start worrying...
