Any predictions on ranking?

I am so fired up about this win today. So now I am thinking about what ranking Michigan will have on Monday. Any guesses? I'd say about #18 (where Notre Dame was). I think that this game officially announces that Michigan is back and is on the way to a solid to great season (9-3 or better?????) Too bad Sparty crapped their pants against Central today (it would make beating them even better as they could be ranked too...)

I think that ratings are only truly important to fans (and the BcS formula). I don't think that they matter to the players. (But I have no primary, secondary, or tertiary knowledge of this thesis.) I will say this. If being ranked 20th (or whatever) is good enough for a player...then he's not that good of a player. Competitive players will never be satisfied until they have met their goal. (And sometimes *cough* Brett Favre *cough* they still aren't satisfied once their goals are met.) This is still Michigan, where players work to win Big 10 championships and go to the Rose Bowl.

Miami (FL) beat no.18 Florida State, and was ranked after the first week. Since we beat a pretty good ND team (also ranked 18th), I don't see why we shouldn't make it to at least the 25th spot.

I really think we'll be ranked come Tuesday morning but where will depend on how the current top 25 shakes out. I think somewhere between 19-25 is a reasonable expectation.
