Any open tailgate parties?

I'm a long time UofM fan that is stationed with the military here in Louisiana. I scored some tickets to the game but I'm hoping my wife and I run into some opened arm fellow Wolverines to share some beers with.

Just that someone will get bent out of shape and tell you "this isn't an info kiosk" or something of the like. I don't mind threads like this as long as there aren't 1000 a day (I can choose to click or not; no one has a gun to my head). Maybe mods could make a sticky for things like this?

The "kiosk rule" is a prohibition on people using the board to try to buy/sell tickets, vehicles, shakeweights, or whatever. We also frown on "Are there any Michigan bars in Fargo?" threads, just because there are (as you may have heard ) a lot of cities in this country.

Attempting to coordinate stuff in New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl is fine. Thanks for your service, and enjoy the game.

that usually you can't create a thread until you've accumulated at least 100 points.  Some folks explained it nicely, others not so much. 

Regarding your question, I'm sure that if you're dressed in Blue and bring some food and/or drinks you'll be welcome at just about every M tailgate.  Have fun!

Driving in from Shreveport the morning of and plan on being on Bourbon St up until game time and then back on Bourbon after the game celebrating the win.

I'll be there my my 2 military friends we usually paint the town red when we get together! They haven't seen each other in 2 years so I'm expecting nothing less than excellence! Who would want to sit outside the superdome when you have the greatest party block in the world? We will be chucking beads see you at the game!
