Any news on this recruiting weekend?
Last weekend, it was a "Hello: ______" post just about every few hours. THis weekend, NADA. Is there any news out there on how this recruiting weekend is going? There are obviously a couple of big recruits that we are going after, but I haven't seen much in the way of info.
Anything?
Also, does anyone know when the pre-signing-day dead period kicks in?

"It's 4 days away from signing day. Most of the kids that are left are waiting to announce on signing day."
See this thread.

It's a soft verbal, since I have never made it before, and I may still visit Kroger.

At this point, a strong finish with good numbers in the positions of need seems like a quick fix. Even though I see the number of 5* guys in the senior bowl is fairly low, I still feel nervous we are somehow "missing out" on so many great players taken by other schools.

Being a 5* in the Senior Bowl is the equivalent of not living up to expectations.
You don't see many of the guys coming out who are going to be drafted in the first couple of rounds playing in the Senior Bowl. The Senior Bowl is largely an opportunity for the marginal draft picks to have a chance to improve their position.
The top flight prospects (and their agents) look at the bowl as an opportunity to get injured or slip in the draft rankings.

about the Senior Bowl, that is.

I thought he was still sitting outside of the first round before that week, and practiced/played himself into the first round. I think the surefire #1 picks are the ones who may skip these things.

According to Sam both Clark and Willingham are silent commits after their visits last weekend. Apparently hanging out with DRob helps recruiting, who knew.

No need to get your panties in a bunch. Hoke and Staff have done solid on the trail so far. Most of the kids visiting AA that can sign, are waiting until signing day. Just remember that in 4 days everyone will know. Don't worry i'm sure the coaching staff are doing everything they can to get these boys to GO BLUE! And remember this....WHATCHA GONNA DO WHEN THE HOKESTER RECRUITS YOU? BROTHER!
