I know this may be a little too early for the networks to decide but I am really hoping for a 3:30 ABC kick. I was wondering what you all thought after looking over the schedule. There are many attractive games that weekend for the networks.
Any ideas of when Mich/Mich State game time and network?
EDIT: Thought you were asking for networks for MSU/OSU
They'll prob decide the week before. The other games that have (currently) have 2 ranked opponents are SC v. Florida which is probably a CBS game, and KSU v. WV which prob ends up as a FOX night game
I think you may be right. But i think a lot depends on Michigan Staee winning today and us beating Purdont next week.
12 est game. not sure about network.
You don't know that yet.
one of the apps on my phone had it scheduled for noon est but I just checked a couple other places and it's all TBA. oops!!
I'd tell you it'll be a 3:30 game, but I doubt it will be nationally televised. It might be on ABC regionally, because I bet that will be the B1G's most popular game that day.
I was willing to bet this game would make College Gameday a few weeks ago, but with the Florida South Carolina game, as well as the KSU West Virginia game that day, not to mention MSU being on Gameday today, that doesn't look like its going to happen.
I'm happy I can tailgate all day on the golf course then play it on the TV with my rabbit ears and not have to worry about my spot with my dish.
I'm also hoping for a 3:30 game. Tailgating for noon games isn't nearly as much fun.
Has anyone else noticed how last year we had a ton of home noon kickoffs, and so far this year we have none (last I checked anyway)?
Yes and It's terrible. Even the freaking umass game was 3:30. Come on. That does not need to be that late. My old high school could've beaten them.
This link basically has the information for every game out there.
Fuck 3:30. I'm sick of these late starts. Michigan football should be played at Noon, just like Bo said, every weekend with the occasional HOME night game. But in this day and age where TV networks dictate start times, we're seeing a lot less of it. For God's sake, the game against UMASS was 3:30! Michigan only plays at noon at home. It's been a policy ever since a home game in the 80s was a late start and ended pretty late in freezing weather. Bo declared no game in November at Michigan would not be played past Noon.
Woop de do about the tailgating. I like having the satisfaction of getting the win and then I can relax and tailgate after the game. Does wonders for me.
I'm just really tense on game days.
Get The F### Off My Lawn! ;)
I seem to recall 1 PM home games. Was I drunk? Can someone as old as me confirm? Freshman in 1969!
Before my time, but oh yes, home games were usually 1pm. I have a large Michigan ticket stub collection and most of them from the 60s, 70s and 80s say 1pm.
May have been drunk, but remembered correctly about the 1pm starts!
Bo used to say "Toe meets leather at 1:00. If you want to take pictures, come on down". That was a different era before TV ran everything.
Did you also drive model t's in your day?
Did you really just say "fuck Bo?"
What the hell is wrong with you? Fuck you for even typing those words.
Bo didn't fire Ernie Harwell. The Tigers made it look like it was his call when it wasn't. That was not one of Tom Monaghan's prouder moments.
Yeah there's probably a way to make your point about prefering 3:30 starts without stating "f*ck Bo"...
Fuck you, you cunt!
have no respect for U of M tradition, I'm guessing you also like the bumble bee jerseys and every team's gloves that make a symbol when u put your hands together, sweet gloves bro!
The people who like 3:30 games are for the frat boy types that want to be stumbling drunk when they get to the game. Michigan football needs no enhancer, being hammered only takes away from the experience.
Most likely 3:30, which is fine but I must admit I wasn't a fan of the UMass game being a 3:30 kick.
Night Game, 7:00 kickoff. I'm calling it now. Michigan travels to Nebraska for 8:00pm kickoff the following week, I guarantee this is Brandon's night game for the Big House this season.
Dave Brandon has reiterated he does not want them here for a night game.
All the more reason to have it then. Wild card!
It's a noon kick
I'm bringing my dad and brothers tithe Northwestern game. When does it kick off?
If NW is undefeated that'll will be a big game. Probably 3:30. It's still yet to be announced.
Does anybody really believe Northwestern will be undefeated when we play them on November 10th? They were threatened by an Indiana team that gave up 700 yards today. I think they will be exposed in the coming weeks
Got a link man? Or is it jut wishful thinking on your part?
Hasn't been announced, jackass.
This comment is not needed, but whatever, keep being a douche.
I'm guessing Noon ABC/ESPN regional network.
