“On the offense last year, they had great spacing. That’s what I remember. Great spacing, great shooters, like Nik Stauskas, who’s not there right now. But they always have someone to fill the roles. They have a cutting offense, kind of hard to guard.”
Any idea who may lead for Chris Barnett?
Scout says he's a soft verbal to Arkansas. Also with interest in YTM and us, but he hasn't been offered by Michigan. (Haven't TomVH'd this information, but that's what Scout says.)
Did you just hand me my Big Mac? If it was you, you forgot my napkins jerk.
Are you TPryor's alter ego?
I've never been able to understand why people find amusement in writing annoying posts like this.
Arkansas has two other good TE commits in this class. He'll more than likely not end up there and is visiting this weekend so if he doesn't have an offer, one may cause him to commit on the visit if all goes well
I'm curious on this too. I read that Hoke will be in Texas today paying visits, hopefully this kid is one of his stops!
in texas that hes visiting?
Coach is in Arlington Tx to visit QB Bellomy today and Barnett is just 15 minutes up the road in Euless, Tx. I would say it's safe to think he may stop by.
I would hope we offer this kid. He's a 6'6" 245 lb 4* TE per Rivals. We have no depth to speak of and could really use a big target like Barnett.
dat ho be evrywhere!!!
He is. He's part of that big(ish) group visit on the 28th.
You can't go anywhere in Dallas in 15 minutes.
Yes that was supposed to be 45 min. It's just under 15 miles. Sorry.
Andnonce again... Sorry.
Kid is a beast
You said it. I'm hoping that GMatt uses his Texas mojo on the kid.
tall, big, fast, good route runner (at least how he is described) and it's a position of need.. this would be a huge pickup.
Go get him Hoke!
I think we lead for Barnett if the visit goes well. He went to Miami and seems to have pretty well backed of Arkansas, especially with 2 other TEs in their class. We are moving to a TE heavy offense, we don't have anyone blocking him and we have top recruiters who should have us as an elite program sooner than later
