Antonio Lewis...WTF?
I was scanning through the Freep's (I know, I know) photo gallery from NSD in the metro area, when I came across this:
http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/gallery?Site=C4&Date=20100203&Catego…
"Antonio Lewis of the University of Central High School speaks before signing a letter of intent to play football at the University Michigan."
The next picture, number 45, goes further: "Antonio Lewis of the University of Central High School autographs a sign after signing a letter of intent to play football at the University Michigan."
Is this some kind of lame joke on the part of the Free Press?

I hear the Free Press makes a lot of them.

I hear the Free Press IS one of them.

In the background is Tyrone Winfrey, the guy who does UofM Detroit Admissions. I dunno what the hell this is, though.

Could be a typo for Kinard?
EDIT: didn't notice it was for the metro area. Maybe he's a preferred walk on? Do they sign LOI's?

That doesn't even make sense.
Fail.

What I found says he's a tiny sophomore LB/FB.

Didn't some kid a few years back announce at his school's NSD press conference that he was going to attend USC (or some other powerhouse), when in fact he had zero scholarship offers and just wanted the attention?
EDIT: It was Kevin Hart.

Do walk-ons sign LOI?

I don't know if he was a Soph or not but Antonio Lewis was an honorable mention all metro area linebacker out of Central HS in Detroit. I'm guessing Max Preps has his year wrong and he is a preferred walk on linebacker.
