Antonio Kinard commits to Miami (YTM)

Submitted by Dreisbach1817 on

I'm not sure how much interest the current coaching staff was showing (or even the previous staff).  Another Golden poach.

The fact that we didn't hear his name at all may say something about it.  But, the fact that Miami took him may also say what we missed out on.

With Kellen Jones and Desmond Morgan in at LBs, with Beyer likely at DE and Frank Clark being recruited more for TE, this might make Frost an even bigger priority.

Miami is raping us.  They are cashing in big on Rich Rod leaving Michigan - less big names recruiting in the state now.

Naming leaders means only slightly less than committing to a school (cough Justice Hayes cough Matt Goudis cough).

If we're counting "naming leaders" as "getting raped," then that really dilutes the whole "rape" metaphor.  Where I come from, getting raped is more than "somewhat uncomfortable but subject to change."

Al Golden "We want all your commits!"

I know antonio wasn't coming but damn why didn't Al just coach at Michigan he seems to really like our players!

I believe that 3 so far Goudis, Crawford, Kinnard.

Is he after anyone else? I thought I heard he wants Jones and Fisher too

Why?  Becasue one kid from Florida has opened up because he is unsure of who our defensive staff is going to be?  Kinard was probably not going to get in as others stated and I wish him the best of luck.  Goudis has now switched his commitment 3 times so who even knows if he will stay at Miami.  I think we should wait until the current staff has a full recruiting season under their belt before we establish what pipelines have and have not been closed.  It sucks to lose kids but we all knew it was gonna happen.
