Another thanks to "Brian"

Brian - whoever you are - you do a bang up job on this site. You put it best yesterday - you're an obvious homer, so you rely on facts/reason rather than the phony cloak of "journalistic objectivity" (and, to those that think "Brian" doesn't ever level criticism on UM, just scroll through his archives). I always dig donating to the site, but today, I actually did it specifically to correspond with the number of subscriptions to the Free Press that I could have bought instead. I'll take the mysterious "Brian's" free site over the Freep any day.

The "whoever" you are is in reference to the Freep's web-savvy editor collecting fan reactions who couldn't be bothered to figure out who runs the most widely read sports blog around.

I emailed Brian last night and suggested it was time for a new MGoSlogan: "Thru these screens write the best informed, most demanding, hardest working bloggers in America." Brian and the rest of the MGoTeam are tops. I finally donated last night, should have done it a long time ago. Dropped our A2 News subscription recently, had been thinking of a Freep subscription instead, eff that. Onward MGoBlog!

Thanks for doing the previews! It should take peoples minds off of other things and help to focus on the important stuff. As always these things are detailed, insightful and fun to read. Thanks for all the effort you put into this great site!

They just continue to spiral downwards. How can these people be holders of Journalism degrees and holders of journalism jobs? Can this please be over? I want football to start...

SWIHA* Dave would like to thank SWIHA Brian for having the integrity to identify himself as a homer rather than trying to claim objectivity when it's not there. *Someone Who Identifies Himself As OR Someone Who Identifies Herself As

If only he didn't have to hide behind a cloak of untraceable e-mail accounts and complicated proxies that funnel his internet activity through a remote village in Kuwait. Its too bad really.
