A couple years ago I donated about a foot of hair to Locks of Love. The lady who cut my hair remarked that it was the first time she had ever had a guy donate hair. I just chuckle when I think about the fact that somewhere out there, some cute little girl's flowing curly blonde locks are actually from a dude in his 20s.

Excellent cause and indeed another example of Michigan making a positive impact and giving back to the community. My wife actually makes it a point to give once a year, and my daughter willingly gave at the age of six this past summer. Kudos to Joe Bolden.
