Another off-season "pump up" video

Submitted by PeterKlima on

I stumbled upon this off-season hype video and thought I would share it. It might have been made by one of you guys, but I haven't seen it on here before. Anyway, there is some seizure-inducing editing at one part, but overall it's pretty good:

I liked some of those monster hits they showed from the Iowa game.  For some reason, in my mind I keep forgetting how intense and close that game was, and we were definitely a shoulder away from pulling it off.

After watching the LL Cool J version video, I just wished our tackling now was as sound as in those clips. Hit and stick, not the recent hit then fall.

Still very excited for the upcoming season and will be there supporting as always

Nice find. Whoever's responsible did a great job of editing together different camera angles of the same play.

And yeah, I too expected 3 Doors Down or something.

I like this trend of hype videos containing some sort of narrative instead of simply showing us a bunch of highlights set to rock music.

I love that clip of Shaw punching that douche bag OSU assistant who intentionally ran into him in the tunnel.

I know it's not very sportsmanlike, but mmm, shows there's fire in his belly.

can you explain why you are critiquing a play?  When the subject matter of the OP was about a "pump up video".  This video gets me "pumped up" about the teams future. Im sure that #5 did not give all he could of, but it was a practice. These flashes of upside, gives us a hint to what the future will be like.

i find more reality (and greatness) in a 30 yd run and quick secondary coverage that would have kept the touchdown from happening than a nearly 70 yard td scamper from a pre-freshman quarterback on a qb draw that the defense should know in and out

It's like Reese's Peanut Butter Cups...combining 2 tings I love together and making something unbelievable.

Radiohead?  Check

Umich football highlights with great editing? Check

I loved it, thanks for embedding this video
