Another Random Act of Kindness

I was reading the other day about how Jonas Mouton did a nice thing for a little girl and then as I was walking by Schembechler Hall today I saw another thing that made me really proud of the Michigan Football team. I noticed three kids walking out of the building and realized it was Jeremy Gallon, Brandin Hawthorne, and Mike Jones (3 of the florida boys). An asian woman walked up to them and said something along the lines of are you guys football players? My son loves you guys and is a big fan. Will you come talk to him and his friends? At first they laughed but then they walked over to a van and said hello and talked for a little while. The kids were beaming and its cool to notice that a 1 minute conversation probably made these kids really happy.

These kind acts are getting old. Wake me up when Will Campbell gnaws off a homeless guy's foot and then spits the bones into a KKG's face.

I decided to play this little football players "kindness" game and give them a taste of their own medicine. Just the other day Mark Moundros was having trouble printing and he looks at me, helpless, asking "Which printer do I use?" I told him the right one and he successfully printed his important documents. I will not let these football players be nicer than I am.

I had an old lady ask me to make sure her gas cap was on. It was kind of weird, because it had two especially deep notches that had to go in exactly right, so you couldn't just turn the thing until it locked, you had to actually put it on correctly, push, and then turn. I taught her how to do it and then put it on for her. She was grateful and I went back to my car and pumped some gas.
