Another Pryor Speaking Blunder?

Submitted by Ziff72 on

Last nights Gruden-Pryor teaser had Gruden egging Pryor on about OSU traditions and he talked about The Game.  Gruden went on for bit about the Shaw shoulder bump in the tunnel.  At the very end Gruden asked him about singing Carmen Ohio at the end of the game.  Pryor admitted he wasn't really singing it and before they cut back to Sportscenter he appeared to say he forgot the words to it.   This should put the Buckeye fans back on tilt.

I'll put a disclaimer that people can do great things with editing so it may not be true, but this is still going to be great.

Not surprised.  I was at The Game last year in Columbus and even though they were scrolling the words to the song on the big screen not a damn person in that stadium where red and white knew what they were saying.

Wow! I was honestly dissappointed when we missed out on him on Signing Day, but man now  i am glad that we didn't get him.  Just goes to show how he doesn't have any respect for his program.

Honestly, more shocking was that "he used to know 'Carmen Ohio.'" How do you forget it?  As a UM fan living in Ohio my entire life and now in Columbus I know most of the damn words.  He played for OSU and doesn't remember it?  He sure loved his school.

the Mike Tyson of the NFL, and I don't mean the "in his prime" one-shotting opponents Mike Tyson. I mean people better watch their ears.

We have a new season and a new game against a new OSU coach and QB. Pretty soon I hope Pryor-speak will be OT.

I'm much more concerned with Miller, Guiton, Bauserman or Graham than Pryor.

...and I suppose I like him for screwing OSU over, but I'm going to record this Gruden Camp with Pryor. I'd love to see if Gruden drills this idiot to death.

"Another  pryor speaking speaking blunder?"  Really?  Let's add that to such famed post like "Another sunrise?"  Or "Another female celebrity shows her panocha on camera?"  If there was some more shock value I could understand but this is, meh.

I wonder if you all would still be so annoyingly eager to start a post about every little minor thing that you think TP does wrong if he hadn't 1) spurned Michigan as a recruit, including this site's favorite extant Michigan coach (RR); and 2) kicked our ass every time he played us?

Just curious.

No.

Why would you follow college football if you couldn't hate your rivals?   I admit I would not put up a post if K. Moore said he did not like the blue turf.  You are 100% correct, very smart and good looking as well.

You can now resume your bitterness at life.

but I don't expect ESPN to show anything more than just a little challenging and then it will be things that TP can address as "learning moments" or "youth".  Looks like from these few minutes that Gruden had a bit of a tude about the young terrel pryor.  In the end though he'll summarize with a vanilla piece that enables ESPN to continue the story.

Wish he would have gone all "chuckie" on him like he would in a practice without cameras around.
