Another gem from ESPN

Not to pile it on or anything, but in ESPN's article about Denard being good to go for Saturday's game against Indiana, apparently it's a matchup of 4-0 teams:

The 19th-ranked Wolverines will face the Hoosiers on the road Saturday in a matchup of 4-0 teams.

Just another thing to add to the heaping pile of crap from ESPN.

Their quality control people have been moved to the section that puts Madden passing cones on players during highlights.

I like their college football bloggers, but not much else.

I'd say they're even on the day for providing us with this article.

Boys and Girls High School volunteer assistant football coach William Miller has been sacked after he exposed his rear end to opposing fans following an altercation with school safety officers and referees during a game Saturday, according to school officials.

Someone at ESPN goofed up, but the caption says under the video Forcier said was also hurt at BG.

Great fact checking guys.

EDIT:  Apparently Forcier did have a quad bruise (sorry for the words, ESPN, you're fact checking is amazing), but I still think it's misleading to imply that was completely the reason he left.  I think Devin would have come in anyway on the next series.

All about getting headlines. If I had gone on ESPN mobile instead of watching the game, I guarantee that headline would have been Michigan loses 2 QB's in win. I guess they didn't see that Tate played through his injury, and that Denard didn't talk to the because he was too busy chest bumping Gardner.

Nor do I go to their websites anymore except for the recent rankings. I remember the days when I woke up early in the morning just to catch the Top 10 Plays before school started, and then running home to finish my HW so I could watch ATH and PTI.

However, I am now saddened that ESPN has become (more of) a money-grubbing attention whore, and the more I hear and see from ESPN, the more I'm realizing that their network is slowly becoming less and less about sports and more about inflated egos and cookie-cutter media tactics to suck in the drooling idiot masses who know about an iota's worth of knowledge about the sports they "love". IMO, ESPN will eventually become the MTV of sports broadcasting.
