In reacting to this whole Reckman being suspended thing, this particular blogger showed all his maturity: http://www.boiledsports.com/2009/09/snakeoil-salesman-does-his-joband-o… I'm not sure what I find more entertaining; that he never even mentions how ridiculously bad it looks when your player nails a NIU player after the game is effing over and almost seems to condone this action or that he is rehashing all the tired preseason story lines in his attacks on Rodriguez. What a petty little man.

the fact that he got his facts wrong. Coach Hope did not suspend his player for a full game. He suspended Reckman for one quarter. The Big Ten said that was not enough and stepped in to suspend him for a full game. Nothing like calling someone out when you've got your facts wrong.

is actually suspending people other than Michigan players for stuff that should have just been handled internally. I keep recalling the fisticuffs between Woodson and Boston back in '97. I don't think either one of those guys were disciplined or even flagged.
