Just got hit with a DUI...
Sad to see but from what I can remember hearing this was not an isolated incident while he was in A2.

For Andy..But Im trying to figure out why this would be any of my business.
Do you take the same view of Braylon's arrest for DWI?
Ive come to the realization a long time ago that many of these guys are flawed and are not role models for kids/young adults alike. Admittedly and regretfully in my past I have driven under the influence but never got caught. Instead of hiding behind the cloak of never being caught by the written law and lecturing someone from afar seems a little pretentious for me to be making a claim. I understand that public accountability in both cases could shape them into better men. A (somewhat) anonymous finger wagging on any blog for any wrongdoing is not going to correct the core problem, if this were my son or daughter I would definitely be more involved and would certainly be my business.
this will not be pretty.
Still, everybody kills, everbody gets DUI's...
That family seems to have a problem with alcohol, unfortunately. I wish him and his all the best, and hope it's a "teachable moment," to steal a terrible cliche.

When your team is winning, be ready to be tough, because winning can make you soft. On the other hand, when your team is losing, stick by them. Keep believing. -- Bo Schembechler
Terrible thing to happen. I knew both Moeller kids in high school, played with both on the football team, and they are an outstanding family. Those kids were well disciplined, not to mention great people. My condolences are with that family.
That said, it's unfortunate this had to occur. I hope coach learns from his mistakes and tries to start leading by example. It's a sad stigma to be associated with.

I admit, I probably was over the limit a few times when I was younger and it was a dumb thing to do. I've matured in my late 20s and always use a DD if I go out to party or I just party at home. Though when you're 47 you don't feel like partying as much as a 20 something! I hope Andy can mature and stop driving after drinking! If he has an alcohol addiction problem, then I hope he seeks out treatment for his disease.
. I remember he was a great MLB/ILB when I went to school there!
expect the best
If I have a drink while out to dinner, it's one, and I order it to arrive before dinner ever shows up. Then I always finish the meal with coffee and make sure to take my sweet time.
If I go to the bar to watch a game, I make sure I've finished my last drink before halftime starts, and I have a bready, absorbing snack.
If I think I can even feel a hint of anything, MAYBE, I go for a half hour walk before I get to my car.
If I'm drinking at home, I simply will not go out that night.
In other words, If I've had any alcohol, I either do not drive, or give myself a full two hours and food to digest it and let it pass, at the very least. If there is ANY doubt, I don't drive until there is no doubt.
he's facing SEVEN (!) charges? What the hell did he do other than driving under the influence?
for the first time.
Odd, but some problems never really seem to implicate YOU. I've always felt angry at people with drinking problems who drive drunk--had an old girlfriend lose her husband that way--but just never thought much about the impairment everyone suffers if they've been drinking. The fact that I may only drink once ever couple of weeks could make me a bigger danger. I just cut and pasted his post and am going to try to internalize it fully.

His ass needs to be thrown in jail. This is his third DUI realated arrest in as many years... obviously he hasn't gotten the message.
