Andrew Dakich Posbang
As recently as 5 days ago, this kid was planning on redshirting, although he only played 8 mins tonight, they were a big 8 mins. He had a big rebound and a really nice pickpocket steal while running the point allowing Spike and MAAR to rest when needed, without a noticable drop in the flow of the offense. He looked comfortable and that is a huge reflection on how hard he works and also on the coaching staff.
Good game tonight, Andrew!
It was funny to see the tiny lineup with our 2 guards at 6'1 and tallest guy at 6'7 but, BEILEIN!

redshirt for the team says it all. He will always be a favorite.

I'll bet Dakich doesn't see it as "giving up his redshirt." I have a feeling that a redshirt was the farthest thing from his mind when he was getting told to go in. These kids are all competitors. Competitors don't like to sit, even if it means an extra year on scholarship.

Well he is a walk on so he's not on scholarship.

"@daycheck3 came to me and said 'Coach, I don't care if it's one minute the rest of the year, burn the redshirt and let me help the team.'"

Last time I remember a Michigan game in which the color commentator's son was playing for us. That was a good day.
I also thought the turnover Dakich was charged with was nonsense. He was clearly fouled!

I just love it because he continues UM's recent tradition of players who's fathers were famous, or at least publicly known. (THJr, Horford, GRIII, Dawkins, Dumars, etc.)

Dakich Sr. Is a legend. Don't forget Jor-Mo's dad, Captain Morgan.

Boyfriend on the basketball team. She says he is not as dreamy as Kyle Kalis, but he is on tv more. Lol.
