Alternative PreGame Traditions

Submitted by Blerg on

Hey everyone!

Long time reader, first time writer.  Anyway, I've got two home games left in my undergraduate    "career," and I feel like it might be about time to expand my horizons on football Saturdays as an undergrad.  I joined a fraternity, so I did that whole bit for 3+ years, but what I really want to know is are there any MUST sees/dos as an undergrad either pregame or postgame?  I'm hoping it's not too late to accomplish these things.  Please let me know.  I've got a group of friends that are game for anything  Thanks and Go Blue!

PS: Hope someone got the Bob and Tom reference?

I'm only making two more of these myself.  Interviewing dumb sorority girls is fun, but it's get old.  It'd be nice to interview someone who actually reads mgoblog/knows what they're talking about.

Honestly, just enjoy hanging out with your friends with a great on-campus location. Cherish it.

You'll have your entire life to do the more sophisticated pre-game stuff. You won't get to see these people that often after graduation. One of Kevbo's Lasting Lessons is to enjoy the now, especially if things are going to be changing soon. Write that down.

Try marching into the stadium with the band. They meet up outside the band practice facility about an hour before kick-off. It's pretty cool, part of my routine. Player's sign autographs outside the tunnel entrance after the game if you're into that kind of thing (lots of little kids though).
