Alternate jersey mock-up

Submitted by Wolverine Devotee on

Someone on twitter shared this me. I made a small adjustment to our 1997 Road jerseys by placing the jumpman on them.

Here is a mock up of that jersey idea everyone liked but on a 2016 photo.

That just looks right.

I love our all-white road uniforms, but that NEEDS to come back at some point.

I think PSU will get a stiff test in Iowa. They'll be cocky after rolling them last year, and I think Iowa has a better team than people realize. They've got good pieces. If that game is at night and PSU doesn't take them seriously that could look a lot like our game in Iowa last season.

That being said, I would love to go into State College, gameday in town, and ruin their perfect season. Preferably in a very comfortable win. Fuck Penn State.

Don't do that. With everything about concussions and CTE, you can't go there. Unless you yourself have played ball, and been willing to sacrifice your own health . . . for the rest of your life, how can you even think of that? Not cool.

Yup. I'm looking forward to the PSU game so much. I think they're a good team, but the love fest for them right now is off the charts and I just don't get it. McSorley is nothing to be scared off and, from what I have read, they lost some key players. I know Michigan did, too, but PSU doesn't have the talent level that UM does to fill positions. Bring them on.

...with alternate jerseys provided they're throwbacks (actual throwbacks, not the bumblebee trash tornado nonsense).  These look great.

That picture does not quite look right as a '97 throwback.

But if all you did is take a '97 picture and put a Jumpman logo on it, I'll take your word for it.

Must just be that specific picture.

Not sure if that's an actual '97 picture since it is at MSU on what appears to be grass.  They had turf in '97.

But whatever, we can get the idea.  It's this with a Jumpman logo on it instead of a swoosh:

OK, I get it now. I'm a little slow.

So, he put a jumpman logo . . . on a 2016 mockup . . . of a 1997 jersey?

Seems legit.

Wouldn't it have been easier to just put a jumpman logo on an actual 1997 jersey?

Come on, Dog. Get it together.

He did that yesterday. Threw a jumpman logo on Chris Howard from '97 Penn State.

But that was a dated look with the screen printed numbers and all that, so today he has mocked the '97 design onto a '16 Jordan jersey.

The OP is WD, who I swear works in sales/marketing for MDen/Nike/Jumpman. He has license and free reign to do anything and everything as their rep to whip up sales and is known to swallow everything "Jumpman" hook, line, and sinker, regardless of how gawdy or bad the product.

Now that you are no longer among the uninformed, there shall be no further excuses for such comments from you.

If we wear throwback jerseys from championship years, I vote for our black, white, and gray jerseys and helmets. Maybe add a maize jumpman? I dunno, that may look weird.

Just once I'd like to see a bowl game throwback jersey with the bowl logo on the shoulder pads like the 90s. It was the perfect place to put the imagery instead of cluttering up the front of the jersey like the most conferences do nowadays. Loved that look!
