All-time wins: key to expansion? (Pure speculation)

Watching the BTN's coverage of Nebraska's introduction into the Big Ten, I took special note of the list of all-time winningest football programs: 1. Michigan 877 2. Texas 845 3. Notre Dame 837 4. Nebraska 827 5. Ohio State 819 6. Alabama 813 7. Penn State 811 If the Big Ten is also able to add Texas and Notre Dame, it would house 6 of the top 7 winningest teams in D1A/FBS history. Do you think there is any consideration by Jim Delaney or others about this?

... this is cool, even though I think Texas ain't coming.  Still, 5 out of 7 if ND joins is rather stout.

And as far as Texas goes, I think if they are strong, they go to the Big Ten and tell those legislators to pound sand.  The word that A&M is exploring the SEC gives me a faint hope.

But I think Texas wants to go to a weak Pac 10 and be the top dog there.  Hell, with USC kneecapped for a few years, not a bad time to try...

key to expansion (monetary valuation?) and all-time wins are both correlated to a third variable like long-term viability.
