All Purpose Positive Thread [Ed: POSBANG!]

Submitted by Mercury Hayes on

To help make us feel better about all the not so good news, I've created this thread where we can be positive. I will get us started.

Things to be positive about:

-80 degree weather in March

-Not living in Ohio.

-Having great coaches in basketball and football

-Denard

-DVR's (we can watch the Sugar Bowl over and over until Sept. gets here)

I was at the Sugar Bowl.  The game was awesome but I wouldn't say it's worth repeated DVR reruns... We got outgained and generally outplayed. It was one of our uglier victories but a victory nonetheless thanks to brunette girls.  I'll more fondly remember that week for suffering a Bourbon Street black eye that sealed my right eye shut the night before the game.  Brawled with local housed meatheads picking on fans who dared wear UM gear.  Needless to say I had had my share as well as if there's anything else to do on Bourbon Street other than get hammered or get crabs or some other STD.  Shoulda gone to the doctor for stitches but I said eff it and went to the game.  The devil walks those streets down there.

My favorite DVR game was our win over MSU in mbb this year at Crisler.  Always leaves me with a smile on my face watching Izzo convulse, flopping about and failing to come up with something to complain to the refs about to try and extend the game as time expired.

We have a lot to be positive about

-We have a great 2012 class for football and basketball

-our hockey team is a 1 seed in the NCAA tournament

-our 2013 football class is really good already

-its spring, so that means its warm outside

Positive posts. Am I alone in saying that whoever dogs Devin Gardner (unless he were to throw 4 picks or fumble 5 times in a game) should get banned from posting. Heres a guy who, IMO, should've transferred already to get playing time somewhere else with Denard being the QB. Instead of outlashing about it he stays the course, remains humble, and goes to work everyday. Total Michigan Man! Call me crazy but I believe he is the most versatile player  on the roster. I know I am a lowly poster on here and dont know much about coaching, but he has got to see the field more this year, and if that is at WR then do it! You cannot tell me he is not one of the best 11 we have on offense. Go Blue

and think he'll be a great star, but currently he's sitting pretty to start at Michigan for two years.I don't think anyone who plays QB should transfer to find playing time before their junior year starts (assuming he gets the redshirt that's due to him).

playing in Southern California every March so I can take my budding softball star twin girls.

This year they got every autgraph from the team and even a little coaching from Hutch on properly catching a fly ball.
