Off topic for this thread but really dont want to start a new one, but just heard Brad Edwards say that there is an above average chance Michigan does not make a bcs bowl game. I know the scenarios have been posted, but just wanted to share what i heard. Its kind of confusing bc he still projected Michigan in the Sugar Bowl.

I wouldn't say an "above average" chance. From what I gather, we'll probably pass the loser of the Big Ten Championship game. We just need to hope LSU beats Georgia, which probably has a better chance of happening than not. EDIT: Have to hope Baylor doesn't jump us with a win over Texas too. Can't forget that.

John Simon (OSU) and Kawann Short (PUR) split.

LBs Lavte David, Chris Borland, (both polls), Mike Taylor and Gerald Hodges split the final spot.

DBs Alfonzo Dennard in both, then johnny Adams, Shaun Prater and Aaron Henry in the coaches. Antonio Fenelus, Trenton Robinson, and Brian Peters in the media.

If I didn't know any better, I would think Nebraska and Wisconsin would be playing in the title game. Those two teams are running away with a lot of first team mentions.

No problems with these lists. Michigan is a great team of hard working guys, but not a lot of individual stars.

I think Mike Martin would've made 1st team had he not started a bit slow.  In the middle to end stretch of games he was The Hulk.  Ohio's offense with Miller was tough for the DLine to handle for long stretches Saturday.
