So I had to register just to take part in this party.

I've been a lurker for years and was always too lazy to register to reply to other threads/posts. But this is step 1 of what Michigan needs right now.

More importantly than this, is step 2... Making the right hire.

Is this one of the shortest tenures for a major schools ad? He had what 4-5 years. Have there been other schools where ads are only around a few years and then resign or get fired? I can't remember anything off the top of my head.

If he resigns and saves M $3 mil. then I think he deserves some credit for going out with honor and for puting M before DB.  If he makes M fire him then he will deservedly be the most hated man in M football history.
