Alex Malzone to enroll early
Per Allen Trieu's tiwtter a couple days ago. Always a good thing.

another note on his twitter shows Mario Ojemudia's brother, Michael, just committed to EMU.
I thought Catholic league kids couldn't enroll early?
I think it depends upon the individual school's policy.
That's a school's decision, not an athletic league.
For a second i thought Mario was transfering to EMU.. lol what a scare.
Cool. Should be a good QB battle in the coming years.
Let’s hope they push each other right to the National Championship
is what some may say, but I think you're right.
I'm glad you brioched that subject. Makes me Wonder what leaven warriors might say about that.
Cinnamon-Raisin bread out of this discussion. As a side for breakfast or a snack, it's definitely upper-crust when toasted!
No dough about it, man. We are going to compete for the B1G at the very yeast.
We'll be good, but I'd bet you a pumpernickel we don't win it.
Bread-based puns make me proud to be a Michigan Wolverine.

which side you butter your bread.
something something Alex Calzone.
You guys were really on a roll.
Oh Ryelly? Your comments are half-baked. But still tasty.
Not sure if it's a Catholic League policy. I may be wrong but just ask my x wife, I seem to be always right.
I figured we wouldn't offer a scholarship to the younger Ojemudia, but I was hopeful he'd come here as a preferred walk on. He could be a solid player.
Gotta admit that when I was watching Malzone's film he looked even more impressive than Shane (who has very impressive film). Granted people will disagree but at a minimum, I think he's the same caliber player that Shane is. But if I were watching their film without knowing their names or backgrounds and had to pick one, I'd go with Malzone.
But to say his film looks better than Morris's... I don't think so.
Look, Malzone may end up better than Morris. Neither QB coming into college are/were without their flaws. Very different flaws, but nonetheless. But Morris strengths were built for highlight tapes. Cannon arm, fit the ball into tight windows, a bit better athlete, great rotation, a throw that really pops. And at the end of the day you can cut out all the mistakes he made in the process (which decision making and consistency were his big issues). So on a tape, all you see is a QB that looks like Brett Favre.
So, I can get on the same level as someone believing Malzone's intangibles and some of his skill set are better suited, but you'll find very few QBs that have better highlight tapes than Morris (Malzone is not one of them, for better or for worse). Highlight tapes are exactly why he was a 5 star, their built for guys like him.
Only time will tell. Just think though, Morris, Speight, Malzone, we are set for years to come.
but having three qbs of this caliber ensuring that no. 1 has to continuously prove he's just that on a daily basis can do nothing less than raise both his level of play and confidence both. Proving you're the top gun in this four man group is proving a whole hell of a lot. I'm certain the entire offense will take note.
What's worse is that this was intended for the Game of Thrones thread.
for lurkers from Ohio, it could be the OP for a Cooler Poopers thread.
Party on Garth.
Smart kid, that Malzone!
