I think we are going to start seeing even more "pro" coaches going the college route. A lot more job stability in college. Owners are going to hve a hard time finding coache because they are contently furring them. In the NFL there are really only a couple good jobs to have. Pittsburg, now Cinct (I can't believe I actually typed that), New England, and the NY Giants.

This is one of the matchups I was actually most curious about - Massey has this game as not exactly a strong UCLA lean (55%) and they have the Bruins only -2.5 right now.

Of course, the ruling on that is a fumble, but looking at it, clearly not. Big Ten refs, man.

The early returns seem to support my yearning for Mora as a backup HC if Harbaugh had not come home. Of course, early returns haven't always meant that much this bowl season ... .

To be honest, I want UCLA to lose. Clark is still on the fence between UCLA and Michigan. A win tonight might excite Clark and draw him into UCLA even more. I do not believe that the game will bare any effects on whether Mora goes to the NFL or not.

I really hope that Mora stays at UCLA. I like him, and think his impact is the greatest at the collegiate level. He'll take a job with vaunted shield, and will most likely be looking for another job in 3 years.

at least to make it interesting.

I wrote off both the Houston-Pitt game and this KState-UCLA game.

At least I came back to this one to see that wacky onsides kick attempt after the last KSU TD put KState within 40-35.  That was cool, even though UCLA recovered it.
