Hopefully Michigan will be on ESPN one of these days.
My guess is after we win the national championship (realistic expectation is 2011) they'll televise our spring game.
I too eagerly await that day...
That is a realistic expectation?
That on the last play of regulation it took 7 seconds for the last three seconds to run off the Spring Game clock?
I will never forget-I will never forgive.
I don't know if that's cool or sad. It's a spring game.

If we ever draw that many it'll be awesome.

I just don't see it ever happening....and that's not an indictment of the program or fandom or anything really. It's just that we don't live in a part of the country where football comes before our children and families and work and school and breathing and stuff.

Isn't it a little hypocritical to smugly mock them for drawing a lot of fans when on fall Saturdays, we draw more fans to our football games than any other school in the country?

I don't see how it's hypocritical when they at least doubled our attendance today for a spring game. A lot different than selling out a *regular season* game. Heck, you'd think people up here would have a lot more reason to go to a spring game because there are a ton of compelling storylines this year. They are pretty much a completely intact national championship defender.
I also was only borderline mocking them. That's all people down there care about is football. Oddly enough there's a strong following from my high school here in Michigan that goes to Alabama. They are the most annoying football fans you'll ever meet. It seems to be all that matters down South. That's why you have felon players robbing students at gas stations and those same students pushing for those players to be allowed to play again. It's borderline sickening.
