Being rivalry week I was thinking UofM has a lot of rivals: OSU, MSU, ND
On the other side Sparty only has us. Is that why they play us like its their superbowl? Does it make it easier to prepare for just one rivalry game as opposed to 3?

take the Suckeyes. Remember it's all about the money. OSU will sell tens of thousands of tickets to the Dance! He'll I was just a BW3's in downtown A.A. and 90% if the patrons were buckeye fans!! It's all about the money!

If Wisconsin drops out of the rankings, neither Ohio nor Sparty has beaten a currently ranked team this season have they? Could be an interesting ranking situation this week.

Did anyone else notice Kozan during this game? How dominant was that kid?? I can only imagine how much better our O-line would be with just that commit.

Was he higher rated than Kalis?  I doubt it.  Or if anything they were equal.  Thay is like saying if Tom Brady was drafted by the Lions 12 years ago his career arc would be the same.  We have high rated recruits galore on the OL from 2012 and 2013.  Right now until Funk develops any of the younger guys into someone great you cannot move player ABC from team A to UM and say "he would have been great".

Another great game, and another crazy finish.  I really like seeing Saban do something stupid that cost his team the game.  It's hubris at its finest.  Arrogant ass uses his larger than life status to get one tick on the clock -- which was bullshit to begin with -- and he uses that one second to shoot himself in the dick.

I don't get all the Saban hate here.  Bama was the one thing ensuring no OSU joy.  Now they can weasel into the title game if they get past Sparty.  I would rather have evil Saban win again, then deal with Meyer's buckeyes in the title game.

Most of our assumptions about Ohio's porous defense could be tested against various matchups.  I think Alabama and Staee run offenses that are predictable and slow themselves down, thereby allowing Ohio to stay in those games or win them outright.  Against more dynamic systems run by FSU or Auburn (not sure about Mizzou), we'd see a better chance of a fiery and ruinous end for those motherless fucks.

For once I agree with you.  Heck I think MSU will put up something like 24-28 on OSU at a minimum, potentially low 30s.  They have 1 great LB, a D-line that is talented but uber young outside the DTs, and nothing special in the secondary.  MSU OL will keep Cook's jersey relatively clean and Langford will have more holes than UM backs.

Forget FSU or Bama or whatever against OSU defense.  They would toy with it.  That said OSU offense is legit. Braxton did not even have a good game through the air -he missed a few big passes that would have really hurt, thankfully.  If he was on with his pass game that offense becomes FSU like in scary-ness.  I would love to see Hyde versus Bama defense but MSU defense will be interesting at the minimum.

The best outcome will be if MSU beats OSU and we have tears from OSU for not getting into the title game and Sparty tears, thinking they deserved a shot at the title.

I think most Spartan fans are thinking Rose Bowl no matter what happens in the crazy world of college football in the next couple of weeks. Our loss to ND in SB may have been... ahem... interesting, but we lost because our offense hadn't clicked yet. It now has clicked (enough to be average which is all MSU needs). Rose Bowl first. if we have another season like this next year maybe then Spartan fans can start to worry about a NC. At least teams will have to earn it rather than win a popularity contest soon. That can only help MSU in any run for a NC.

Well, the sad thing is that if Jameis Winston doesn't play against OSU in the NCG (assuming they beat Sparty), they have a MUCH better chance to win. That sucks BIG BALLS.

Like I said before 90% of the people in there were suckeye fans. I was the only Michigan fan in there rooting for Bama! All of the other Michigan fans were rooting for auburn! I went up to a table of Michigan fans and asked them why the hell are you rooting for auburn? They told me they wanted OSU to have a chance to win a national championship for the big ten! I was fucking speechless!!! Root for the buckeyes??? No fucking way!!! Ever!! Go Blue!

I'm sorry, but I just can't bring myself to ever root for Ohio or msu. Alabama just screwed this whole thing up.  Would love to see Ohio get spanked in the NCG--if that is a possibility.

Don't ignore Missouri. They are leading A&M. If they win they play Auburn. If they win that they will be 12-1 with only a double OT loss to South Carolina. They have a number of big wins against ranked teams.

Thought it was great how ther SEC went to reply to give Alabama, there premier team and main BSC Championship game contender, a chance to win in regulation and not have to risk OT, and it totally backfired.  What a great ending!  I wonder if they would have given Auburn the same close scrutiny if the roles were reversed?

Whatever the case, great ending!  It will be interesting to see how this shakes out if OSU and FSU remain unbeaten.  The SEC champion potential not in the BCS championship game.

I personally could careless who plays in the BCS Championship Game.  What a joke of a Championship.  They can call it what they want but in my book, whoever wins is not "The Champ" the way every other NCAA sport decides it.

You can't have a champ by just picking two teams to play it out.  There isn't enough cross sectional games on a regular basis to really know year in and year out who the best conferences even are.  Most of the big boys don't even play each other in the non-conference anyway,

Until we get to at least an eight team minimum, we'll never really know, at least by my figuring.

Not only did Cade Foster get death threats via twitter but one woman shot and killed another in Birmingham. Just in case anyone thought Bama fans forgot how to lose.
