Cleaning up may be a bit strong.  MSU is doing better with Ohio kids so far, 4 commits, two 4*s with UM only slightly behind Wisconsin with three 3*s.

Unless you meant getting their Ohio commits all the week after beating Ohio State then yes, it is certainly a rush of kids.  Although non of those kids happened to be OSU vs Wisconsin recruits, it obvioulsy effected the process to some degree.

Yeah, as fans on a message board, we wouldn't want to derail the team by talking about players who commit elsewhere.  Let's maintain our focus, guys!  Concentrating on AJ Jordan for a few minutes is EXACTLY what the enemy wants us to do!

The staff cooled on him possibly for some bigger fish.  I don't know if that means we have a good lead on another WR or not.  One thing for sure is he is a 4* on ESPN (since we are looking at them more favorably now I guess?) and would be our highest rated prospect along with Dee Hart, a 4* on scout and a pretty generic 3* rating on rivals.

I hope we land those "bigger fish" otherwise he probably would have been a nice addition.

Well, Jordan may have been our second biggest commit to ESPN, but realistically he would be behind Beyer, Kellen Jones, Delonte Hollowell, and likely Chris Rock and Jake Fisher.  So most of our class.  Not only that, he's rated lower than almost every other prospect we're going after, including every other WR recruit.

It's never good news when a kid picks another school over yours, but AJ Jordan is not a guy you get too bummed about, especially when we took 4 receivers last year, 3 of whom are rated more highly than Jordan and a guy in this class who's about the same.

May his Wisconsin team continue to beat up on Ohio State.

I have to give the Wisconsin program credit, they do a fantastic job of developing WRs for a run-first offense.  For instance, a guy like Toon, who was a decent 3 star WR, has turned into a very good WR -- of course he also has a solid coach in Al Toon.  I bet AJ is a serious player in 3 years.

They have definitely adopted Lloyd's old system-build a run oriented offense, stout defense.  They go after one kid at each position, and sell them that they are the man for that class.  Gets them to conistent 9 wins.  The question for Wisconsin, is that the ceiling for this approach, with periodic down seasons if "the guy" doesn't pan out?

to Raymon Taylor. I know he's committed but a guy who can play both ways...haha both ways, would be great. Personally I think if we are going to put out offers to marginal guys that can't  contribute immediately they should go to local guys like Thomas Rawls. Why...I don't know just because these guys always seem to get away and become players elsewhere. Iowa and Wisconsin come to mind as teams that get these low ranked Michigan kids and turn them into starters. On second thought this has very little to do with Jordan himself moreso the filler recruits, the spackle if you will, between the Hart's, Zettel's and Clinton-Dix's (one can hope).
