I'll participate as much as I want to, civilian or not.  If the Air Force is the kind of service for you that you'd rather forget about and pretend you were never in it after you left, sorry to hear it. But it sounds like you could use a little more of it from all directions so you don't get so sensitive about it.

And I definitely don't need to justify my fanhoods to you, either.

Then I saw another player's back and thought, cool, there are brothers playing for Air Force. Then I noticed that everyone's name seemed to be Freedom, and as someone who served in the Navy, I was just even more bummed. It looks like the time I got really drunk and created a team on NCAA '10.

At least one of their players was "Service."  I wonder how they choose which players got to be Freedom and which ones got to be Service.

With the exception of the helmets, I thought the uniforms were pretty cool.  The Thunderbirds fly over every Air Force Academy Graduation and are pretty well tied into the Academy, so that could have been why they decided to go with a Thunderbird theme for the uniforms.

It's more likely that the same drunk monkeys that pick out Oregon's uniforms week by week got unleashed at Air Force.
