Air Force Center out with torn ACL and MCL
Air Force Center Michael Husar tore both ligaments in his left knee. I never wish an opposing team's player to be out due to an injury, especially one of this level of severity, so here's to wishing him a speedy recovery.

Tough. His dad played at Michigan. Would have been very cool for the family to see him play at the Big House. Best wishes Michael!

Damn, they already lost so much. Attrition, relocating for the wildfire, ect. Thought it worth mentioning again that the Air Force does NOT suck!!!!!!!

Jeez. That's not good for their team. The center exchange is the key in that offense.
Hope the kid is alright though and makes it back next year.

responding to Goblue1213 above....
But with the academy academic structure, he's SOL. USAFA doesn't have a 5th year program (the AF's grad school is at Wright-Patterson, not at the USAFA) unless he got a waiver from the commandant to postpone his graduation, but most cadets want to get their military careers going. There have been extremely limited 5th yr redshirts at the academies.. if that happens the cadet stays around for a 5th year in some weird post graduate status, but again this is VERY VERY rare.

It would almost have to be the type of injury that essentially forces you to miss a year of classes. Unfortunately, those are the types of injuries that people don't ever come back frrom.
