I love how that has "Coached by Tim Watson" on it ... Another example of Harbaugh giving credit where due. I suspect Harbaugh is going to prove to be really good at building and maintaining the HS coach relationships. It'll pay dividends.

My understanding was he wasn't well liked by other coaches in the state, so Rutgers thought being affiliated with him would hurt their in-state recruiting. Not like they're recruiting well in-state anyway. Needless to say, Chris has been a huge benefit for us.

That's not true. If players have pre-existing relationships with other players, they can continue to contact them. Now if Michigan were to offer some random kid from Utah that Mitchell had never met or talked to, then it would be an issue for him to be recruited by Mitchell.

He's more of an Marquise Walker or Adrian Arrington type.
I'd say he's nothing like a MM 2.0 to be honest. He's more of a possession type WR. I mean he's a 4.65-5.7 guy so that would put him right with the Walker/Arrington type guys.
Nothing to sneeze at, but I think those are much better comparisons. If we get Marquise Walker 2.0, we're in business. Adrian Arrington was headed in that direction but he couldn't keep the head on straight and he also left early. But same mold.

When I clicked through, I saw Fisch tweet at him "can't wait to start working with you". He has said a few things recently that make me think he's definitely staying at least through next season. He did say something about "the next fourteen games" when talking about one of our players, that gave the feeling he's out after next year.

He's the guy I thought would leave early, not Durkin. His role here always seemed like a temporary port in the storm kind of thing until he could go back to the NFL.
