Wow, just tuned in to the Sparty score. They have to be seriously considering a backup plan for Maxwell. Who else is even on their roster as a QB? 19 passes for 31 yards? Against Eastern? Wow.

I don't know if I should, but I'm starting to feel better about our game against ND tonight.  This is a pathetic effort MSU is putting forward right now.

Right now ND is beating Sparty again this week........No logical reason says EMU should even be within 21 right now.

Watching this game you can tell Sparty started to believe their hype instead of staying hungry like they have been the last couple years. Mentally they need to just pound the ball and incorporate a little PA into it to finish this game out.

Everytime I watch a Big Ten game I get the feeling I should be buying Rose Bowl tickets and booking a flight to Pasadena.

Spartan fans are no longer allowed to talk about 14-41 to Bama. EMU has their balls at halftime. Even if they win, they are Trailing the Eastern Michigan Hurons.

I know people love Bell for MSU, but behind that line he's not going to be anything better than we've seen this season outside of Boise - a good runner who can make you pay if he gets into space, but who simply can not be effective when defenders are cutting through the line.  And if he isn't running for 150+ yds a game, MSU has NOTHING else offensively outside of a couple of TE-specific plays.

Through three complete games, Bell accounts for 82% of MSU's total rushing yards, and Maxwell,  not shockingly, is 94% of their passing. If either one isn't working or both are ineffective for any length of time, the MSU offense has all the power threat of Neifi Perez.

The whole preseason "Sparty hype" made me laugh.  BTN, ESPN, pretty much everyone was saying that Sparty was going to win the B10, blah blah blah.  Obviously, they still could win the B10, but they're going to have a tough road if they cannot play better than we've seen them play last week and this week.

Looks like MSU is just going to pound pound pound the ball this half and throw in the occasional play action.

RCMB is being burned down as we speak.
