Of all of the terrible decisions you could make, that was the worst one possible.  that is coaching, you need to ahve that conversation with the kid before you let him throw it within FG range.

I guess ND can just take solace in the fact that they played a tough game, head to head, down to the wire, with a chance to win at the end against a better team.

"The smallest FBS school rose up and defeated the greatest name, arguably, at least historically, in college football."  Kinda says it all, doesn't it?

At least Tulsa can make a big deal out of it.

it didn't seem like he was in to throw. having an experienced QB handling the hand-offs could actually prevent injury given the pile-up and free-for-all hitting allowed. the trick plays were much more egregious than that

Minny can beat MSU (like lol), then somebody else beats MSU...Iowa loses twice more and we beat Wisconsin and OSU and snag the Rose Bowl berth!

I'm not crazy. It's that damned Nurse Ratched that makes other people think I am.

Went something like: "You wanna call timeouts? Ok, we're gonna sack your quarterback!"

That about sums up this game. Way to go Iowa.
