I have discovered ESPN/CFP Committee Logic: Florida beat 2-8 Florida Atlantic in overtime. Earlier in the season Florida Atlantic beat FIU, FIU beat UTEP, UTEP beat Rice, Rice beat Army, Army beat Eastern Michigan, Eastern Michigan beat Wyoming, Wyoming beat Nevada, Nevada beat New Mexico, New Mexico beat Boise State, Boise State beat Washington, Washington Beat USC, USC beat Utah, Utah beat Michigan, Michigan Beat BYU, BYU Beat Nebraska, Nebraska beat Michigan State. Therefore, Florida is better than Michigan State.

What the hell is Cook's injury?

MSU is really gonna attempt playing QB carousel with all the implications on playoffs etc?

Any comments on the "TD" by UNC to "win" the game?

The replay review took all of about 10 seconds. It sure looked like the UNC WR did NOT have possession to me...

Just saw osu's shanked punt that went off an msu player's helmet, and it got me thinking. What's the rule regarding when touching the ball makes it live? I.e., if you punt it into an opposing team's player, at what point on the field does that become a live ball? Past the line of scrimmage? It seems like that could end up being a crazy play at some point if the refs and punting team are paying attention, where a shank turns into a fumble recovery...

totally wrong about sparty returning that punt at the 4.  if he has any skills at all, go for it.  if you're stopped, like he was, no big deal.  take a knee.  osu has struggled giving up punt/kick returns.  there really is no risk there, unless you fumble.  get the ball back to start the 2H.
