for our corporate genius! (Yeah, I know, not the best weather, but I doubt it would have been much more than 20,000 even with perfect weather)
I hope DB was giving water away like he did for the students last week. He has plenty more penance to do between now and his departure.

Lost. Had a 23-17 halftime lead and then wound up losing 45-23.

Is it just me or do the "upsets" feel unimportant because of the playoff system?

All I can hope that if Sparty pulls a miracle and runs the table they end up playing Alabama in the playoff.
The last time Bama beat someone this bad was Sparty in the bowl game when we lost to Miss St.. I think the state of Michigan was outscored 20-120 that day.

You must be forgetting them destroying ND. That game was basically over as soon as it started. It wasn't big plays like this it was just complete and total physical domination.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:37 PM ^
Eh Sparty was far worse. Bama was up 42-0 in the second quarter before they called the dogs off.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:39 PM ^
The ND beatdown was more recent than the Sparty beatdown. Both were a lot of fun to watch.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:42 PM ^
Indeed
October 18th, 2014 at 6:05 PM ^
That one wasn't so much fun to watch... Wasn't much better than the ND NCG showing. 31-0 and I think Brian was close to cracking...

I believe the playbook looked similar to this:
Eddie Lacy Left
Eddie Lacy Middle
Eddie Lacy Right
T.J Yeldon Left
T.J Yeldon Middle
T.J Yeldon Right

And then they kicked the extra point.

I suppose that is the best scenario. Now that we know Michigan is not a threat for anything this season, as long as OSU doesn't win the Big Ten and get to the playoff, I'm happy. Yes, Sparty. We'd rather see you guys win the Big Ten. In other words, we care more about OSU's failing than yours, which makes you number two.

At some point Bielema is going to have to start winning. Moral victories won't cut it. I think that point is going to be next year. He's going to have to show substantial improvement. He should have stayed at Wisconsin.

JT Barrett is scary good.

Please keep in mind his opponents. The only team with a pulse that he faced beat him and that team is terrible (VA Tech).

Sparty coming out of the half going full-on Same Old Sparty. Caught a huge break on no late hit there. Should have been targeting, too, kid was a good two yards OOB.

Indiana just got a fucking by the officials on that punt return.

The gap between us and a lot of teams is breathtaking, considering where we used to be.
Meyer has yet to lose a regular season game in the conference.

Before annointing him lets wait and see what happens when he plays a defense (which might be in bowl season).

job by the B1G refs continues. Clearly the hit out-of-bounds by sparty was late.

Gotta love the guys on Gameday who picked Arkansas to win today. That team and coach are terrible. Fuck Bret Bielema. That asshole thought he was too good for the Big Ten and could actually compete in the SEC. Well, it's Arkansas...not exactly a powerhouse program in that conference. Jackass. What a terrible decision he made to leave Wisconsin.

I look at Rutgers schedule and I'm not sure they win another game all year.
