45-0 Bama. In the first half.
Oof.
449 yards in the 1st half.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:16 PM ^
I guess Bama's fan raising a fuss over 14-13 wins did the trick.
Also it makes Big Bert's Arkansas team look halfway decent. Will be interesting to see what he can do in that division. If I am going to the SEC I am waiting for a SEC East job. That West is ridiculous.

Joking thread about Lane Kiffin for HC? He's looking damn good today

Rutgers is terrible just like I said. How the heck did M lose to that team?
October 18th, 2014 at 5:16 PM ^
Bad coaching and preparation.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:17 PM ^
...because M is more terrible? Just a thought.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:17 PM ^
The worst coaches in the conference, by a mile

Because we're worse.

I am not saying this sarcastically. With the improvement of Purdue the past few weeks with Appleby a case could be made we are the bottom 5 teams in the Big 10 ahead of Illinois and in the realm of Indiana, PSU and Rutgers.
We are wholly mediocre - we got destroyed by Minnesota at home. Purdue went to Minn and could have won. Indiana is pretty horrid right now - all they have is 1 player on offense. We also have 1 player on offense but that guy requires Devin to get him the ball - which aside from arm punts is not that often. Our defense is better than Indiana but right now I think we are tied for 12th worst in the Big 10. PSU might be right there with us as well. And Rutgers.
I said in a piece earlier this week PSU Rutgers and UM are basically all the same team. If they play 10x on a neutral field they'd go 5-5 against each other. Below them is Illinois. Indiana is probably right in the mxi with PSU Rutgers and UM. Purdue right now is better than the above teams.

Where does NW fit in?
October 18th, 2014 at 5:15 PM ^
All that trash talkign A&M and its fans did toward Texas the last few years is going to come back to haunt them. Strong has Texas on the up swing and you can just tell he will have them in the playoff picture in the few years. A&M looks like they are heading to the bottom of the SEC.
As bad as some of our performances have been this year they aren't even close to this. This will be extremely damaging to their recruiting.

Something crazy... WVU runs a 3-3-5 on defense and wrecked Baylor on offense today...
October 18th, 2014 at 5:22 PM ^
That's hardly wrecking it. Also, before this season WV has had some of the worst defenses in the country.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:25 PM ^
Look at 3rd down stats. wrecked.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:25 PM ^
They were defending the spread. Michigan under Rich Rod would NEVER deviate from the 3-3-5. Not even against jumbo sets.

I wonder how the TAMU defense has looked in practice for the past 3 years?
October 18th, 2014 at 5:16 PM ^
They've executed.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:29 PM ^
The way they are playing against "Bama, they should be executed.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:16 PM ^
Make a tackle and the sideline goes crazy.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:19 PM ^
Instead of this for excitement.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:21 PM ^
More clapping please.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:22 PM ^
"Those butts need a slappin'."
October 18th, 2014 at 5:21 PM ^
How people were angry that they won 14-13 last week, and that people think they should blow teams out every week. Well, I guess this is what happens when Saban gets pissed off.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:16 PM ^
A&M can't run, throw, stop the run, or stop the pass.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:19 PM ^
Other than that, a pretty solid first half of football.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:19 PM ^
Other than that they're just not a very good football team right now.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:37 PM ^
They haven't been a good football team all year. But they scored a lot of points on an opening Thursday night game against a shitty South Carolina team and all of the sudden were ranked #6. They have been exposed week after week when playing good teams and and it's finally time for everyone to realize how bad they are and stop propping them up just because they play in the sec.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:49 PM ^
...and Ole Miss and Miss St. each got a crap load of unwarranted credit for beating them.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:23 PM ^
This is incredible.
CC: LANE KIFFIN!
(100% joking)
But seriously, it was the perfect half of football. It reminded me of the first half of Michigan @ Illinois last year. Remember when Stauskas just trolled the entire state of Illinois?
That was a wonder to watch.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:18 PM ^
Mmmmm...Allie Laforce.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:18 PM ^
Watching that Ohio Rutgers game is depressing.]
Switched over to SEC ball and am watching what I wish our football program was like.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:18 PM ^
Love the expression on Saban's face...like they're down 45-0 at the half
October 18th, 2014 at 5:19 PM ^
This is the same coach that yells at players when they jump offsides with 2 minutes to go in the game and up by 21.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:20 PM ^
You enjoy faces.

Poll: More humiliating loss, MSU or OSU?
October 18th, 2014 at 5:25 PM ^
Minnesota but I just can't bring myself to hate them in football. Their coach seems like such a good guy and Michigan has owned them my entire life as well as most of my mom's life.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:53 PM ^
I bet it'll be Msu.

College Football just doesn't make sense. I love it.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:25 PM ^
Hehe.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:23 PM ^
Shout out to Appalachian State!
They're opening up a can on Troy right now. 33-14 in the 3rd quarter on the road.
This will be their first win as an FBS memeber and their first Sun Belt win.
Good for them. I hope they do well in FBS. We're tied to them forever so might as well be cordial.
October 18th, 2014 at 6:13 PM ^
App State again. I suppose you, on the other hand, wouldn't mind playing them again in the hope we'd be able to have a 2-1 all-time series advantage, huh?
October 18th, 2014 at 5:24 PM ^
I'm surprised at how lopsided the UGA Ark score is.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:32 PM ^
GA has taken it to another level since losing Gurley. Sometimes that happens - you sharpen focus when you lose a great player but that requires a lot of other good players on the team of course.
Watching the SC game vs GA I remember thinkng their 2nd and 3rd string RBs looked 10x better than anything we throw out. A guy like Chubb.
October 18th, 2014 at 5:26 PM ^
OSU losing to VT and Georgia losing to S.Carolina have to be two of the most perplexing losses of the year. Georgia can get away with it if they win out. OSU probably can't.

Damn. I love pumpkin ale. Shipyard is my favorite and my second favorite is America's Original Pumpkin Ale by Buffalo Bill's Brewery.
