OSU is annnilating Rutgers. Anyone still think this is a litmus test for our chances.

I mean The Game is a rivalry game! Anything can happen right? RIGHT? guys..?

If we had a Minnesota level team we could pull the upset at MSU.  But we don't.  sad.

It's a shame Indiana has Russ Bellomy playing QB or this could have been an upset.

...and Connor Cook throws a dart right to Indiana's LB Scales and now the Hoosier's have somewhat short field even after a rather inane penalty. Of course, Tevin Coleman grills the defense and puts Indiana right in front from the original spot before the foul.

Wow. Diamont on the keeper and TD Hoosiers.

Can we try out this gameplan for ourselves maybe? Should we ask Kevin Wilson nicely?

OSU is killing. J.T has a QB rating of 238 - 9 of 11

Shows just how far we have fallen- thank you Brandon for your excellent choice of a no name mediocre Div 2 coach- you should be fired for this giant gamble by itself

Only have one loss? Their D is suspect and their QB does not look vey good. That team is not going to win out and make the playoff. Is Michigan State the most over rated team in the country?

I just saw Alabama's QB run a successful read option for a TD.  Alabama.  Even the most pro-style, most heavily advantaged (through recruiting and roster culling) team has realized that using the QB as a runner can provide benefits, and that doing so is not an offense to their football tradition.  Maybe Brandon can use his millions to buy his fellow Luddites who want to pretend that the sport has not advanced the past 20-40 years Edsels (the cars, not Randy) and Encyclopedia Britannicas.

If IU somehow wins this game, I think that points toward two losses for us in MSU (I mean a worse loss) & then IU plays well with the kid QB. But on other hand:

IU beating MSU would be awesome.

TD for MSU. SO NEVER MIND

Agreed.  Their defense is a step back from last year for sure.  They will get punished by any team with a real QB but aside from OSU there is not really one on the schedule.  Teams like Wisconsin Minnesota and Nebraska in the Big 10 championship game are made for MSU to stop.

What has been shocking to me is their run defense.  They stack the box to eradicate the run and it worked great vs Nebraska but Indiana with its 1 dimension is running on them.

As for Cook dude has been sacked 4 times all year.  When they play a defense that actually can pressure Cook he throws a lot of dumb passes.  In 1.5 years Ive seen so many dropped INTs by him

They may get into the playoffs due to doofus nature of the league but they have a look of that ND 2012 team that will get sand blasted by a real opponent.
