Oregon @ Arizona on ESPN2.  Tasty, exciting modern college football.

Arizona up 7-0 and driving with the ball midway through the 1st quarter.

Find a quote.  Take your time.

What I said, a long time ago, was essentially that if, in a hypothetical matchup between Michigan and Arizona, an Arizona win would make the heads of all of Rodrigez's detractors in Michigan explode, then yeah I'd root for Arizona and Rodriguez.  But since that was unlikely to happen, I wouldn't hold my breath rooting for that eventuality.

It's a long road and a lilttle wheel and it takes a lot of turns to git there.  But watching this game should make Michigan fans weep.  No matter what I might write.

I guess this is where you try to rub it in?

It could be, that the Rodriguez Wildcats finish the year in the Top 25, maybe Top 20.

And Michigan might finish the 2013 season at 7-6, with more or less embarassing losses in five out of the last six games.  Unranked and badly overmatched in a bowl game.  Unable to get out of its own way on offense and impotent.

Who knows?  I'm in no position to predict.  But in that case, it might be time to rub it in.  7-6 with an embarassing conclusion is exactly what got Rich Rodriguez fired.  Actually, that's not right.  I don't think 7-6 by itself got him fired.  And I don't think that 7-6 will get Brady Hoke fired.  What got Rodriguez fired was the combination of 7-6 (cf. Hoke), a dismal end to the on-field performance (cf. Hoke), and an utterly toxic atmosphere created by the Free Press and a group of Michigan insiders (contra, Hoke).

Georiga Southern up 20-10 on Florida in the 2nd half.  Let's see if the Florida AD is going to stick to his public defense of Muschamp after this display....

Arizona beating Oregon...hahahaha it's just funny at this point. I'm just picturing Rich rolling in the 3 million buyout we gave him and flipping everyone in Michigan off while doing it.

Casteel's Arizona defense foils a Ducks' 2-point conversion, then forces a fumble.  Long way to go; very intense game.

Who is winning the heisman? Winston is out, Marriota not looking great and Manziel won't win for many reasons. That leaves McCarron, Miller and the Baylor qb. Thinking about putting a wager on this one the odds are still with Winston.
