Less than 10 min in the OSU vs Wisc game. OSU up 10 - 0 with the ball.
ND is also winning 17 - 10 with 7 left
Wisconsin appears to be bleeding out with 10 minutes remaining Q4. Bucky's choking on his favorite cupcakes.
get your shit together, Bucky! I don't want to see Ohio walking over the Woody division.
Neither Wiscy nor ND look particularly good, but at least Purdue is a competent opponent. Not a proud day for the B1G.
Montee Ball probably wishes he went pro last year...
Florida State's got 35 in the 1st quarter against Savannah State.
Nice to see Iowa go back to the pre-Hayden Fry colors today.
Unfortunately they went back to the pre-Hayden Fry performance too.
fumble ND....PURDUE BALL!
So Notre Dame is going to blow it again. What else is new?
Turning it over within your own 15.
They now have the ball with 3 minutes left...
Iowa State beats Iowa...again!
Iowa State owns Iowa at this point.
You know, people could (and do) say the same thing about us and MSU
Not looking like the best start for the B1G this year but I am encourage by some of the young Wolverines we have - Funchess, Ross, Bolden.
What happened to Notre Dame's pants? Were they always that color? Looks awful.
B1G looks very weak this year.
Wisconsin 10-0 to Oregon State, with 9 yards rushing into the 4th quarter. A bit tougher than the cream puffs Wisconsin usually has in the non- conference schedule.
Wis down 10-0 that is
Is that Nessler and Fouts calling Oregon St/Wiscy game?
I bet Montee Ball regrets not going to the NFL now.
So what I've decided is that MSU is going to win the B1G easily this year. Maybe Neb is actually good this year and not fake good.
FUCK YEA PURDUE!
Charlie Weis and Kansas lose at home to Rice, USC throws an int and is only up one score at Syracuse, and Wisconsin looks like they're gonna lose to Oregon State.
Great day for college football all around
Unless Notre Dame is really bad, Purdue might have a shot in the Leaders
Do they have a competitor? Everyone else is either ineligible or incompetent.
but not to play in the B1G championship game (or any postseason game).
Problem: too much time for ND left. At least they don't have 'ice cold' Tommy Rees this year.
Rees is going in.
Lol, spoke too soon. They're actually putting him in to boos for the last drive!
I dont like purdue but........ To HELL WITH NOTRE DAME. GO BOILER MAKERS.
WISC just turned it over on downs. OSU ball 4 min left
What's wrong with Wisconsin this year?
Russell Wilson, as he has shown in the pre season, is much better than we gave him credit for.
Everybody's been kissing Wisconsin's ass for the last 5 years and I keep saying it over and over again.Go play somebody on the road, even if its some middle of the road pac-12 school.Stop scheduling 8-9 home games, playing cream puffs like Wofford every year and the "magical" seasons will come to an end. They play Ohio State tough because its the only game on their F' schedule until their yearly ass-kicking they take come bowl season. This program is garbage, their campus is garbage, recruiting is garbage, and their fatass windbag drunkard coach is garbage. Hopefully they go back to being the "bodybag game" that they were for 40 years prior to Alvarez.
Holy shit. I spoke to soon. "Ice Cold" Tommy Rees"!!
Rees into the game for ND
Michigan gave up over 400 yards to Air Force today.
Bama gave up over 300 yards rushing to Georgia Southern last year. Ga Southern also runs the triple option.
As brutal as that was, and it was brutal, I'm just glad we came away with a win.
The only teams to hold AF under 400 last year were bad teams: Army, Navy, New Mexico and Wyoming. They got 416 on TCU, 408 on Boise and 565 on Notre Dame.
Gotta love love Notre Dame's homer announcers calling penalties from the booth.
FX keeps calling us big blue...also how is Wisconsin this bad?
No Wilson and their OC is now coaching at Pitt
That playclock was at ZERO ND.
Rees must give good blowies to BK because Golson looks pretty good IMO thus far in the season
Brian Kelly is unstable
I liked him from a distance at CMU and Cincinnati.... Then I saw his head explode on the regular at Notre Dame. They can keep him.
Dude, the playclock ran out, and everybody in the stadium except the refs knew it, lol.
A call that should never be missed!!
Wisky just got bailed out on a hell of a PI call
ND will pull this out in a 20-17 scare against Purdue, but it does not change the fact that, every time I hear their fight song, I can only think of "Airplane".
The BigTen is as bad as the Oregon State uniforms are ugly
Danny O'Brien looks like a middle-aged cigar magazine editor.
Douche move of ND secondary player to intercept Purdue pass with no time on the clock and to return it ~35 yards rather than immediately take a knee.
TD Wisky. Onside kick or die.
I think he touched that ball early.
Wiscy recovers the onside!
Wisco kicker is a baller
Looked like it hit #8 on OSU and bouced back to hit kickers left arm
How in the hell can the announcers not see that the ball is rolling to the RIGHT and not the left when the kicker recovers it. Horrible call.
Awful call. Refs got it wrong. #8's hand hit it back. Should have been a live ball.
Can't believe they didn't see that. Nother blown replay call.
Just got fucked.
Overturned on review. Oregon State wins, Big Ten prestige plummets.
I took USC -26 against Syracuse and I'm pretty worried now. USC has played really sloppy and Syracuse isn't as bad as I thought they'd be. I don't believe the 1 hour rain delay at halftime helped much.
Or St #Giantkillers
If Oregon State has pulled off that many upsets in the last 8 years, how come they're never actually, you know, any good in their own right?
The Fox CFB crew of Erin, Eddie and Joey is awful.
I have to say that USC's last drive was closer to how I imagined this game - Robert Woods and Marqise Lee being able to act as if no one is even near them.
On the other hand, Syracuse QB takes a sack, throws and illegal forward pass, then gets roughed up for a foul on USC. This may be their best shot at getting first downs at this rate.
Rough day over all so im boasting. I called Wisconsin overrated.
Denard has 408 yards passing the last 2 games (200 in each,) and 245 yards rushing (218 against Air Force.) After todays game Denard is only 411 rushing yards shy of Antwaan Randle Els B1G rushing record for qbs, and 1,006 yards shy of Pat Whites rushing record for qbs. If he averages 101 rushing ypg for the rest of the season it'll be his record.
some of us Michigan grads brought College GameDay to Minnesota today for a charity costume 5K. Figured it's about time the 'other' U of M gets the crew in town. Here's a shot of our group:
Yes, we pushed the set all 3.1 miles.
Can somebody tell how Arizona put up 624 yards and only scored 17 points in regulation last week? They did turn the ball over three times, but still not sure how you gain so many yards and score so little. Baylor had nearly identical offensive stats last week and scored 59.
I didn't watch the game so maybe this comment is completely useless, but perhaps Coach Rod's team has trouble without the open field in front of him. Michigan didn't seem to do great in the red zone in 2010 despite putting up tons of yards. I don't think WVU had trouble putting points on the board inside the 20, so maybe not a negative attribute of the system, but then again they also had Pat White and Steve Slayton.
I just saw the boxscore and was mystified. They had like 350 yards rushing and 270ish rushing yards, but barely scored. The three turnovers hurt, but Baylor had a turnover. Thanks for hazarding a guess. As neither of us saw the game and it is of little consequence, we will agree that it was the redzone O and this will henceforth be the reality.
"Let's face it--the people who have been buying tickets to see games in the Dome at Syracuse have paid to see a lot of bad games. And now they finally have an opponent like this on the schedule and they move the game to New Jersey."
This just in, Erin Andrews is still pretty damn hot.
FSU on pace to cover the 70.5 pt spread. 48-0 in second quarter. Game currently in a weather delay.
wow UCLA sucks why couldn't we open with them
It's early, but I think the reports of Taylor Martinez's newfound passing accuracy were greatly exaggerated
and seem not to understand the basics of what is happening. (Gus Johnson and Charles Davis). For example, Nebraska ran a triple option on 3rd and short, and Martinez gave to the FB when he should have kept. Charles Davis started going on and on about how it's not good to give the ball to the FB on short yardage because he can't get enough momentum... as if the play was designed to go to the FB instead of being an option.
