Would be nice to see both quarterbacks in the Super Bowl come from the Big Ten

OMG Tom Brady
January 18th, 2015 at 7:02 PM ^
Well that was a generous spot and generous TD call.

Let's go Pats!

Tom Brady is the man. Quite possibly the best QB to have ever played the game.
January 18th, 2015 at 7:08 PM ^
To think people liked Henson better when he was here. LOL oh that hindsight.
January 18th, 2015 at 7:14 PM ^
And by "people," it was pretty much everyone who liked Henson better, save a few girls I know who thought Brady was hot.
But of course, everyone now was on team Brady then. I was at the Carrier Dome for the UM Syracuse game and wanted to Strangle Brady for his play that day
January 18th, 2015 at 7:15 PM ^
Going back through Brady's time here... I really think UM would have had a shot at the National Title instead of the Orange Bowl in the 99 season if Brady was the permanent starter. Henson single handedly screwed up that MSU game. With that game being a W, Illinois would be the only question mark that season...
Sigh...

No we lost that msu game because nobody could cover Plaxico Burress

Henson dumps baseball, focuses on football, and comes back for another year at Michigan, he's an NFL quarterback. Would have been a top 10 pick for sure.
Instead, he picks the sport where he had less upside, takes the Steinbrenner money, bats his weight in AAA, and by the time he gets back to football, he hasn't taken a snap in something like four years. Busted potential in two sports instead of one.
Brady's ascendance has been phenomenal. But to use it to say Henson wasn't also a great quarterback back then, with arguably more potential in context, is sheer revisionism. If you had told anyone in 1999 Brady would be what he is in 2015, I guarantee 100% of respondents would never have believed it.
And for that matter, you see all the time that a great college QB's potential in the pros is almost always unpredictable. For every Brady who makes good from zero expectations, you have a Tim Couch, Brady Quinn, Ryan Leaf, Tim Tebow, etc. etc. etc.

Michigan legend vs Harbaugh brain child. Can't hurt for recruiting purposes.

So hard to go back and forth between the game and fights.

And here is the original from Assassin's Creed 3.

Though I just realized what I was doing wrong, maybe. Thanks for imbedding it.
January 18th, 2015 at 8:21 PM ^
Then paste it.
Embeds are for videos...
January 18th, 2015 at 7:23 PM ^
That doesn't seem quite right.
January 18th, 2015 at 7:26 PM ^
Still pretty funny
January 18th, 2015 at 7:32 PM ^
The tyranny came from Lord North and Parliament.
Sounds like the makers of Assassin's Creed need to take a course on British politics since the Glorious Revolution.
January 18th, 2015 at 7:34 PM ^
George Washington, not George the 3rd.
It's a "what if" game, if Washington does not give up his commission to the Continental Congress in Annapolis but rather took control and established a monarchy.
January 18th, 2015 at 7:35 PM ^
Not the British George... George Washington. It's a warped view on history if Washington became "king" instead of President of the USA after the Revolution...
Yeesh you're old lol.
January 18th, 2015 at 7:40 PM ^
Because not being familiar with a random video game makes you "old"?
January 18th, 2015 at 7:46 PM ^
I would say yes in this day n age considering Assassin's Creed is not a "random video game" per say.
January 18th, 2015 at 8:22 PM ^
LOL, "per say." Someone needs a grammar lesson.

Not one of them was named "Washington". I spend my time reading history, not playing ahistorical video games.

What's it like being the embodiment of every Michigan fan stereotype all in one?
January 18th, 2015 at 8:21 PM ^
that you scorn those who seek to acquire it?
January 18th, 2015 at 8:31 PM ^
I'm not scorning you for seeking knowledge. I value knowledge as well or else I wouldn't be in med school.
I'm shaking my head at you for not being able to use a simple Google search to look up the plot of a video game instead of making false comments in your usual uppity literal fashion on a sports blog.
Lighten up b
January 18th, 2015 at 8:49 PM ^
The fact that I was negged for not knowing that is what irritated me. It's a video game. It's not something a person ought to know.People getting "uppity" about another being ignorant of a video game is amusing and sad at the sametime.
Edit: Defending ignorance makes you look bad. It slightly frightens me that you are seeking to be a doctor.
January 18th, 2015 at 9:05 PM ^
The guy you responded to had the origin of the picture in the title. A simple Google search would help you answer that. Common sense. Who's being ignorant? Even when people help you out with the context, you reply with snark. Smh.
For a dude who likes to show off his intellectual prowess, you sure are street dumb.
I'll note down your worries somewhere. No big deal.

I hate how Brady begs for calls. Luck gets drilled every game and I can't remember the last roughing the passer call he got. Obviously played terrible today but I expected that. That's Pats are just a much better team

Dude why would you say "screw Tom Brady" on a Michigan website.
You deserve everything you get.
I don't even care that you want the Colts to win, I don't even like the NFL like that. But the fact that you say "screw Tom Brady" while on MGoBlog makes me wish bad things on you. However, I'll settle for a huge negbomb and hope for Bolivia.
