Adoree Jackson nuggets

Submitted by sheepdog on
Adoree's tweet earlier tonight: Adoree' and Jabrill On The Field That's A Scary Sight @JabrillPeppers And “@WiltonSpeight: @AdoreeKnows you know what to do EDIT: sorry don't know the rest of my post didn't show up.. According to Jackson he and peppers have been talking for a while about locking down Michigan secondary, well before peppers committed. Some think he is a USC lean but he is from Illinois so I think we have as good as shot as any... Paywalled article: http://insider.espn.go.com/insider/michigan/forums/_/the-den#!/topic/13… Edit 2: sorry for the formatting ...on an iPad

not to be a downer here, but this dude adoree' seems like the kind of guy who is loving the recruiting process. would be sick if he ended up coming, but these public messages strike me simply as teasing. i of course hope i'm wrong.

But is anyone really normal here?  Fanaticism is by definition abnormal.  So wouldn't the abnormal thing be to continue posting here?

Even if he is trying to get attention on Twitter, he is the one initiating contact and reaching out which is huge. He said in a paywalled interview that HE reached out to some of the Michigan recruits and that HE called Coach Mattison. His interest appears genuine. So think what you want but if he does in fact visit Michigan like he plans, then we at least have a shot at landing this kid.

It would be great to start pulling recruits out of California.  SoCal has a weak USC team and a decent UCLA team.  With his area connections Hoke should be able to recruit against those guys.

This is getting insane. This type of buzz is crazy. If Mattison does pull in a bunch of 5 stars we will be Miami hurricanes 2001 level dominant in terms of talent.

Hypothetically speaking, lets say at some point down the road he's someone who might want to commit, but Westphal has also committed. I'm under the assumption that we're only taking 2 corners in this year's class. But even with that, is this like a Da'Shawn Hand situation where no matter what happens or who commits, the coaching staff would hold a spot open for Adoree?

Adoree is probably a corner all the way (and if he moved, it would probably be to WR) but you're exactly right that Westphal or Peppers could play safety allowing us to take all three.  It's even possible a guy like Reon Dawson moves to safety to make room as well.

Because I follow both guys I saw a notification that Leonard Fournette just started following Adoree' on Twitter moments ago. These recruits are really starting to reach out to each other.

Is it too much to assume that Jabrill, Adoree, Juju, parrker, brown, hand, fournette and mcdowell are already committed to 135. Maybe we should be concentrating on other recruits in Ohio (or OHIO?)! WHAT ABOUT URBANS FENCE!! SELL MOAR JERSEYZ IN THAT STATE!!!! /its 430 in the morning, I've been at work since 10.

I understand that I'm a grown man, sometimes I even act like one, but Michigan football and recruiting makes me feel like a 6 year old watching Desmond all over again.
