Addendum to former M players coaching - A-Train edition
I remember when that happened. Awesome.
Being a Bears fan I was so pumped when we drafted Terrell AND A-Train. That first season for them was a great one for A-Train and the Bears and I had high hopes for those two to only be sadly dissappointed. We will always have that one great season though.
Best of luck Anthony in your new career!
Good for him. I'm still hoping for a day when the entire Michigan coaching staff is made up of former Wolverines.
And Brady Hoke is the President of the world.
That would be tough to fill out. There are too many good players for some positions to go with just one. Offensive line and running back come to mind where we would have multiple guys that would be awesome coaching those positions. It would be pretty cool though if one day the whole coaching staff was made up of former players.

I knew it didn't make any sense when I first read it, considering he's not a Michigan guy (although he was a Purdue guy), but when I first read this title I thought it was referring to Mike Alstott.
It's been a lot. Its been a roller coaster that for some reason seemed like it would never get good. But you know what? We kept fighting. It's like that old saying goes, "Those Who Stay Will Be Champions." -David Molk

He came up in the section on "disappointing" Michigan NFLers after his Rookie of the Year campaign and subsequent injuries, but here's a little known story about him from 2002:

He pulled over on the side of the road and saved someone from a burning car. He didn't tell anyone, Terrell did, calling him a hero. He's a good guy, glad to see him get his coaching start.
