Ace Williams is back at it again .. Kalis, Wormley and Wilson

We knew not to trust Ace in the first place... who trusts a man named Ace? Anyhow, we sat on pins and needles for a few hours on Saturday hoping Ace's "contacts" would come through. And .... naturally they did not. Now he's trying to save face:

Due to the fact that I haven’t been posting my inside info on message boards for ten years like some message board gods, I have had my sources questioned by a number of internet tough guys saying I am not credible. I will state this without giving away too much on where I am getting my  info: One sources speaks to someone inside Schembechler Hall on a weekly basis that gives him info regarding hunches on recruits and inside info on the team. Source #2 is WIRED IN to the recruiting scene and knows almost every big-time high school coach in MI, OH, PA, FL and CA and gets incredible access to recruits, many of which is never published (see: insider emails). These sources, plus my charming personality are the reasons that Chat Sports hired me to cover Michigan football on a near-full time basis (I also cover other teams here and there).

Click the internt tough guy link, and you will see Ace stole a pic that was posted on MGOBLOG ... directed at ACE. So... interestingly .. we are the internet tough guys he is referring to.

Anyhow, now Ace is saying his outstanding contacts have assured him THAT Kalis, Wormley and Wilson will be announcing that they are going Blue soon.

So, stating all THAT, here is the latest scoop:

Kyle Kalis and Chris Wormley have given the ‘wink and the gun’ that they will be apart of the 2012 class to the Michigan coaches. For different reasons, they are choosing to hold off on making it public. The backlash from Ohio State fans maybe? It certainly could be possible that is why there hasn’t been a formal announcement of them pledging Blue. Expectations are that Wormley will make it official in the next 2 weeks while Kalis hasn’t tipped his hand to anyone that I have spoken with on a commitment date. Rest assured though, unless something drastic changes, these 2 players are coming to Michigan.

4-star OH safety Jarrod Wilson is announcing his commitment on July 8th. I heard more positive vibes over the weekend that this announcement will go Michigan’s way.

I know we can't really listen to a guy named Ace and take him seriously, but lets at least hope for once this guy is right. That he truly has 2 solid contacts thaty are providing him with reliable information.

With the info that is available to me (a complete outsider), I would guess we have a great shot with all three, and that they might be holding off because of Ohio backlash.

So even if all three do commit eventually, it doesn't make him a great source; it just means he knows how to read what others write on the internet.

I said this in another thread but one of his other rumours was that Andrus Peat would commit to Michigan before his senior season. If that happens, I will consider him legitimate.

Some guys will trumpet out rumours (like this one) which are entirely conceivable based on general knowledge. If they're right, they can say they broke the news. If not, no one's going to notice because no one cares about this site.

I went on over to chatsports, and went to the Michigan section. Right next to Ace's bold prediction, there is a link which, if I understand correctly, took me to TomVH's Twitter feed. Someone asked him what he thought of Ace Williams, and he basically responded "never heard of him". Pretty darn funny, I thought.

Like I said, I have no clue about Twitter, but that is how I read it. Any Twitter pros are free to correct me if I am wrong though, because I am pretty clueless on the subject . . .

It's the same old story. Boy finds girl, boy loses girl, girl finds boy, boy forgets girl, boy remembers girl, girls dies in a tragic blimp accident over the Orange Bowl on New Year's Day.

God damn, there is a reason these players haven't openly announced their decisions.  Are we really that desperate for news of 17 year olds to ruin their announcements?  I wish people would just let these kids be a bit, let them have their moment, it won't have any impact on the team for probably 2 years.

Even I have said that Kalis may be a silent commit...and I have virtually no inside sources.

Kalis may go blue.  But this guy so far has not given us any information that any of us couldn't have guessed anyway.

EDIT: And yes, I do write for Ace, but the comments in the OP are kind of ignorant.
