ACE: Jordan Payton Annoucing on Tuesday
Per Tim Sullivan, who posted this info on The Fort ($, also front-paged on The Wolverine, but still behind a paywall), Oaks Christian (CA) WR Jordan Payton will announce his college decision on Tuesday. He's visiting Notre Dame for the USC game this weekend, but has maintained throughout the last several weeks that Michigan is his leader, and there has been no indication his stance has changed. Barring a last-minute change of heart, it looks like the Wolverines will finally have a wide receiver in this class, and a very good one at that.

Hmmm...Michigan has a bye this week so not much will be going on, and the decision comes a couple of days after the bye week when there will be more of a focus on the program. Whether or not he sticks to his official to ND the timing seems to lead me to believe he's.....GOING BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This will at least give us something to look forward to.

Looks to me to be a Roy Williams-type WR (back before he totally sucked). Would that be an accurate accessment?

FWIW, he's always struck me as a Junior Hemingway-type receiver.

He's very similar Jordan is 6' 2" 200lbs and Hemingway is 6'1" 220

I can't find anything about him committing, apart from his initial commit to USC which sunk my heart till I realized it was from earlier this year before he decommited from USC, anyone else have any luck?

does that mean there is one schollie left for whoever commits first between Darboh and Madaris?

I've heard on ND board's he does not have a "commitable offer" just going along with some Cali friends is what they are saying. Also from what I read they are full at receiver
