Such language, young man!
JR is a BA though... nice gif.
November 5th, 2012 at 6:15 PM ^
And by BA, I can only assume that you meant Bachelor of the Arts, right?
November 5th, 2012 at 6:47 PM ^
"He is the holder of a PhD, an M.A,, a B.A. and is a BMF besides..."

thing that would make this gif better is some music. May I suggest the "epic manuever" theme?

I think you are confused, Spike plays on the basketball team.
November 5th, 2012 at 4:05 PM ^
Thanks for that, Ace. I feel like I have now contributed to the blog.

I just have to add that it is soooooo beautiful. I can't stop watching it.
November 5th, 2012 at 4:16 PM ^
Speaking of which I need to scrole up.
November 5th, 2012 at 6:04 PM ^
It's not the best football move in the clip, but I love JMFR fighting through the feeble attempt at the stiff-arm/heisman pose by the QB at the end.

Mutual of Omaha's *Wild Kingdom* - just need Marlin Perkins narrating it as the words appear...

...flash to a scene of a great white shark or killer whale playfully tossing a helpless seal into the air before devouring it in a fine red mist of gore.

safety of the truck, see Jake devour two sabre-toothed gophers and spit their carcasses out like pumpkin seeds"
November 5th, 2012 at 4:15 PM ^
It was extremely nice of JMFR to give the running back a soft landing at the end of the play. I think that he was trying to show a softer, more sympathetic side of himself to the All-B1G Team voters.
November 5th, 2012 at 4:51 PM ^
I thought this was a great, innovative tackle, and really, that's a nice way to take the offense out of the game - use the offense to try and knock down the offense. Awesome stuff.
November 5th, 2012 at 5:06 PM ^
This is better than the .gif that was attempted yesterday for this same play.
November 5th, 2012 at 5:09 PM ^
JMFR's thought process:
- Rip QBs arms from sockets
- Beat RB with dismembered arms until he falls down
- ????
- PROFIT!!!
November 5th, 2012 at 5:20 PM ^
That's actually the WR on a reverse, which is what makes the play even more impressive.

but come on man, thats a Fr. QB trying to block him
November 5th, 2012 at 9:25 PM ^
You know you're absolutely right. Had it been a Jr QB attempting to block him the results would've been TOTALLY different.
November 5th, 2012 at 5:44 PM ^
the burst with which he gets off the block and to the ballcarrier is damn impressive.

Rated as Flamebait. Not sure why, but since it was I am embarrassed to keep it up.
November 5th, 2012 at 7:38 PM ^
I think Jake set the tone for his career with his first play against WMU, when busted through the line and hit Carder's pass which Herron returned for the TD. What impressed me most about the play, was that Jake was right behind Herron as he scored. Kids got a passion for the game.
November 5th, 2012 at 8:26 PM ^
this was an awesome play and all, but that was the Fr QB trying to block him. I mean, you might as well have me try to block JMFR - the result would be the same.
November 6th, 2012 at 12:53 AM ^
I was confused when Brian tweeted "JMFR" as I couldn't stop thinking, "Jerald Mother Fucking Robinson? Jerald Mother Fucking Robinson."
November 6th, 2012 at 7:03 AM ^
I can watch this all day, who needs to work.

I would recommend you to the Internets (invented by Al Gore). Please check them out, plenty of NSFW there.

Not of JMFR

Al Gore also invented green house gasses.
