According to Gameday: Funchess, Taylor, Wilson All Playing Today

Submitted by michchi85 on

Great News!

"One key: Devin Funchess, their top pass catcher, does return today," Fowler said on Gameday. "We expect him to play. And defensive starters, Jarrod Wilson and Raymon Taylor, are also back."

I mean its more of a joke because the word on the street had something to do with infidelity...  there were so many stupid rumors during that coaching search.

I will say that I think herbstreit leaked the info to hurt our program... and it worked...

UM used to have name pronunciation in their Media Guide, but doesn't seem to be there this year.  Tried again today, no luck.  Not on Darboh's roster bio either.   But Googling "player name pronunciation" on MgoBlue brought me several links to basketball player bios where it's included.

However, I did find this from a couple days ago (About Bryan,  not to be transferred to RayMOnay):

"This is a brotherhood," said Mone (pronounced MO-nay). "We have a sign in our D-line room that says, "I am committed to my brothers.' And we all signed it."

So I learned something I didn't even know I didn't know.

I'm hoping Darboh is from one of those languages with equal stress on both syllables so we can fake it.

I think Butt, Chesson and Darboh did a great job making up for Funchess, so if #1 needs more rest, I'm not overly concerned. But Taylor and Wilson coming back are key.

is our best DB, but Peppers and Lewis have impressive cover skills too.  Would be great if Taylor could play sparingly today, easing back into the lineup and get ready for the B1G.
